Quit with the outrageous trade "possibilities"...

Why is it everyone talks about trades the Dolphins "can" make, like this is a fantasy football team. Teams don't trade away pro-bowl players at their prime unless there is a serious flaw elsewhere... usually it only happens when a player is on the last year of his contract, the current team can't afford him, and the team is not in a position to use his services because the team is going through a regime change that will put the player out of his prime by the time they are ready for a run.

I mean, I know this is a discussion board... but hearing "let's trade Ricky Williams and a 4th for (insert pro-bowl player here)" gets REALLY annoying. If the trade is REALLY a possibility... (as in there has been word the team is looking to get rid of that guy)... and our team has a player we don't need that fills a major need for the other team, that is one thing... but it seems like half the threads on the front page are "trade possibilities" that have exactly 0% chance of happening.

18 months ago I thought our 2nd for AJ Feeley had 0% chance of happening.

yes, I know some are tough to fathom but you simply don't have to post in the thread if you don't like it. I truly think it's that easy. The person who starts the thread will understand plenty well if nobody posts in his thread (I would hope)

And hey, lets be honest when someone puts a trade possiblity (good,bad, great or just ridiculous) the poster is always dreaming that Saban or Mueller or someone in the organization reads the board and gets the idea from that person to attempt the trade they mention....somwhere in the back (or even the front) of our minds we hope that true. :lol:

Why would we give up a pick when we trade himat the end of the year
? Havent seen that one before. Anyways you are right some people need to pull their heads out of thier *****.

I couldn't agree w/you more. Some of the suggested trade scenarios are absolutely delusional.

My advice, contribute the $24 and get access to the VIP section.
