Quotes From The Locker Room on Thursday, October 30
(On if it is good to see Pro Player Stadium’s field covered in grass now that the baseball season is over) “Oh yeah. It’s good to see that, but I think I’m done for the rest of the year because anytime I get touched my elbows start bleeding because of it. So I think my elbows will be bleeding all year long.ââ¬Â

this was telling...

(On problems the Colts present) – “They are scoring thirty points a game. They are the No.1 offense in the AFC. Peyton Manning is probably playing the best football since I’ve been here, five years now. He’s not making as many mistakes. I think he has a lot more confidence. Between Reggie Wayne and (Marcus) Pollard and now they have Edgerrin (James) back so he has a lot more weapons other than just (Marvin) Harrison, I think that he is more comfortable with. He’s not taking sacks. He’s been sacked four times. Defensively, they’ve added a lot of speed to their defense. They are running the Tampa scheme – a lot of movement up front. In the second year in Tony’s (Dungy) system, they’re executing better.â€Â
if ever JT can find a game to get on track and sack the QB, we need this one to be it. Only 4 sacks is amazing

i say the indy defense started to get exposed when good RB's get to the outside. they are showing signs of teh same defense of years past. their talent is not that great.

Well, here is hoping Ricky can have a great day. I know we have struggled against other teams this year who supposedly were terrible against the run.

Indy's defense looks quicker to me this season so I find it hard to believe that they have trouble on the corners in regards to run containment. Wherever they are vulnerable though, I hope Norv attacks it with great ferorciousness.

Indy's weakness on run D is that they angle their d-line through the gaps. This allows them to get penetration but also leaves them susceptible to being gashed on run plays.
