with all the moves the jets have been making and with high talented players and with the moves the bills have done i c our fins dead last in the free agency pool .i know NE has yet to strike it big but just keeping moss they have improved their team
will we be last in the afc east again?

Whether we lost or won in FA... we would still end up probably being last in the AFCE this season...

But NE has to be the loser, since they have lost a lot of players. However, I would put the Jets ahead of us for sure in terms of FA. The Bills may edge us out too...

But its really insignificant. There is a lot more to the offseason than the first few days of FA...

The Bills & Jets have been overpaying for guys while we have been adding Depth and key players. SMiley & Wilford will make a huge difference and both are upgrades over Booker & Hadnot. We resigned Bell and snag Ferguson. Now that Pace got that insane offer we can maybe try signind a guy like Marques Douglas or maybe Eugen Wilson. We can also look at guys like Maurice Williams and Shane Olivea.

One last thing it is not about losing in FA, it's about winning during the season..

In the end we got a few good foundation players, really didn't overpay for anyone, set ourselves up for good cap in the future, and the team will slowly get better from this point.

The jets overpaid for Pace, traded for a DT who can't really play NT, made Faneca the hgihest paid G in history and hes over 30.

The Bills traded for the oft injured DT Marcus Stroud and the overrated Kawika Mitchell.

Trust me, its better the Dolphins KNOW we're not that good right now, than fool ourselvs into thinking we can compete with the big boys (like the jets right now)

The JETS are committing suicide IMO. They overpay Faneca with a record deal then trade for underacheiving Kris Jenkins and give him 50 mill or so and now this. They still have obligations to pay Vilma and Robertson some of their contract money and that is just the first 4 days of FA. They are about to fry in cap hell and screw themselves IMO.

By the end of next season we'll be able to say who the winners or losers are. They aren't decided in March. Just as the Draft isn't decided in April. It's decided in december.

Stop buying into the hype.

Do you think anyone questions the Pats ability to win because they aren't going after every name player?

Talk to me about winners and losers after week 17.

We are last just because we were 1-15 last year. No one big $20 million guaranteed signing is going to change that. We made some nice moves that will help this team out in the long run. Lets face the facts, Miami is not pushing for the division this year, and even a playoff push is likely out of reach. With some smart moves this year, MAYBE we win 6 or 7 games. Parcells and Co. likely have a three year plan.

Don't expect Miami to be handing out deals like the Fanaca or Samuals deals anytime soon. It is about signing young players with a lot of upside at a reasonable price. This is reflected in the Smiley and Starks signings. The draft is where teams are really built. Three offseasons of free agencies like this and successful drafts is what is going to turn this team around.

Let the Jets, Patriots and Bills overpay and trade away draft picks. We are not at the same stage as them, and some of those deals will hamper those teams in a year or two. At the same time Miami is ready to become a powerhouse.

We lost........the hearts and minds of people who have no idea about what it means to play on a team, and not a bunch of individuals.

This is what is called addition by subtraction. Me not worried. BP will find his guys sooner or later, and I would rather it be later if they come cheaper and better and not egotistical in nature, and that is how I see Pace. a one hit wonder ego. He will fit right in the other ego's in new york! Perfect fit for MANGENIUS!

Uh, if you guys expected to be contenders overnight, then I guess we are losers. I think we had some solid signings; and I am glad we didn't invest the house on Pace, our franchise is not in position to make such a huge signing. We got tons of holes to fill, this franchise isn't going to be rebuilt overnight. It's a 2 year process.

I half to be honest here i still think Miami finishes last this season...but u never know with all the injuries throughout the season..the team i think that will be very competive in the upcoming season is buffalo..i really like there team and u know the pats r not going anywhere and that leaves the jets who r making a ton of noise this offseason but that always doesnt relate to success on the field and that leaves us..rebuidling and so on

I am not bowing down to their stupid moves. They can out bid and overpay all they want. Lets look at what they have done. They trade for a underacheiving Kris Jenkins and sign him to a 50+ mill contract. They sign a old Faneca to the highest contract in history for his position at almost 32 years old. They pay Pace all that money and he only had 1 good year in his career. They trade their best player in Vilma and a 1st round pick in Robertson when he could have moved to DE. I wouldn't say they have made the smartest moves I would say they are making the dumbest moves. I say we beat them twice next year.
