I looked at the Lions last touchdown. If Jones turns his head around he would have picked off that pass or at least deflected it. The self proclaimed "best safety in the league" needs to be a little more aware.

I saw Jimmy Wilson call him off before the pass. Did anyone see that? Wilson switched coverage with Jones prior to the pass. Wonder if that was an issue?

Yep, absolutely....or at least turn around and shield him towards the out of bounds boundary! Still hell of a throw and catch. They made the play...but ya, if he turns around it could have been a game winner!

I thought the exact same thing when I saw it. Unfortunately, the game isn't played in slow motion.

can't beef with him that was a great play by the lions, I'm more disappointed with no pass rush on the last drive

Jones had good coverage the throw and catch were perfect. I strongly agree with Terphin. There was no pass rush on the last drive. The stre3ngth of this team is the D line we needed a strong pass rush on Stafford.

D line was gassed, lions line was good (aided by no holding penalties called). Cam was held all day.

The time of possession was almost dead even so referring to the D being gassed I feel inaccurate

R.Jones needs to stop standing over players after he makes a tackle like he's something special.

Well that is true. But he's held in all the games he plays and they rarely call it. I guess the refs figure if they call every hold on him, the game would never end. They needed to have Jordan and Cam and Vernon in the game to pass rush. I don't think I saw that today.

Yeah Jones just didn't get the head around quick enough but it was a great throw and catch by the Lions.

Get your nuts of him. You sound like a hater. What is he sopposed to do when he make a big hit, which is almost all the time this year. He's a hitter and that's what hitters do. Have you played football before???
