There is a possibility that R.Williams won't play any more than 2 more years, which makes him a gamble for any team and drops his trade value. There is also a possibility that B.Favre is getting ready to retire and won't be playing anymore than 2 more years at the most as well while still wanting to win a Super Bowl. So with the Packers having one of the top picks in the draft, and with the potential loss of RB A.Green, they would have the least amount of potential loss in such a deal...as well as us. We can get something for R.Williams, which in my opinion is the "real" reason we cohersed him to return-to get something of value for him and we would drop the lawsuit. We can then use our 1st rounder on another impact player where we have dire need for...DT, LB, or OT. We can then either draft a J.Cutler in the second round or wait until next year to draft one. On the meanwhile we are able to groom either a C.Lemon or a rookie while Favre attempts to win his Super Bowl. To me, this makes a lot of sense.

I agree as long as Brett brings his wheelchair and his social security card with him! GET REAL!:goof:

Are we in 2003 or 2005?

If we're in 2003 I think it sounds like a good deal.

If this is 2005 I'd have to say it sounds like a bad deal.

makes sense.....if youre high on weed...

I usually don't make comments like "This is the stupidest post ever... what a waste of time".

I mean, if that's how I feel I usually don't post anything... I just ignore it and move on to another thread.

In this case, however, I feel the need to tell you that this is the stupidest post ever... what a waste of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :shakeno:

Put the Madden controller down, and slowly back away. :rofl3:

Favre, McNair, lets just go after Montana or Elway. These guys are on the downside or are done with thier careers. Why not go after a young gun? We've got rebuilding time on our side, like the rest of this year and even next season. Patience is the key word here. It would be nice to see the Dolphins play in the Super Bowl next season in Miami, but rebuiling takes time. I'am all for winning, but I'd rather go 3-13,4-12 or whatever if that means we'll be a team to beat in a few years.

Oh, really? I guess Saban didn't sign "old men" like K.Carter and K.Traylor, keep vets like J.Seau and S.Madison, sign very "non-young" V.Holiday, T.Jones, D.Spragan and L.Shulters this offseason? Obviously, Saban wants to win NOW while retooling as we go on our rebuild "little by little". What else do you think R.Williams can get us? Let me guess, a 1st rounder? Please. No team in their right minds, or if R.Spielman isn't their GM, would give anything of significant value for a RB that may not play for them more than 2 years and has a chance to fail "ONE" drug test and is suspended for the whole year...c'mon let's be realistic. And I've never even played Madden by the way.
