Raheem Mostert: Why McDaniel Lost The Lockerroom

Only thing more ironic would be if Alex ingold burned scorched earth after he’s released on Mcd.

Both these jokers got paid when they shouldn’t have directly because of Mcd. Hell mostert was 30 damn plus. Ingold a freaking fb a year prior out of the damn league.

They should both be thanking their lucky stars for him.

Mostert had a career year and got paid. He only was signed here because of McD. Really nice of him to publicly criticize the one guy that made us remember his name.

There is truth to what Mostert is saying but he’s also basically saying that players cannot be professionals unless they have a boss micro managing them.

Perhaps that’s a player/maturity issue? You shouldn’t have to be on a players ass to perform their job when they are grown men and getting paid millions to do that job.

It’s also true that you need a leader in the locker room. This is an example of why Sully doesn’t want a locker room full of mercenaries from other teams. We need to build a culture. I think this is the main issue as to why we failed over the last 20 years. We keep bringing in guys from other teams. We’ve had a mercenary culture where guys come here to get paid.

Not a great look for mosdert, hes only regurgitating old talking points. Hes clearly still pissed we got rid of him and is shitting on mccoach despite mccoach being the only reason he had that great year.

Do I disagree with what he says about mcd? No. Does saying it make him look like a clown, hell yeah.

Sour grapes.

McDaniel was not a perfect coach, yet the team played hard despite being down in the standings, and clawed their way back into the playoff picture. You can criticize Mike all you like, but you cannot call that losing the locker room.

I also don`t want to hear about perceived toughness 2 years later from a guy still crying about getting benched for costing us games with his fumbles, because IMHO the single biggest contributor to losing a locker room is losing games!

Players playing hard is not a good indicator of a coaches leadership capabilities....
