If I were Calvin Jackson I'd set my price REAL high. Think about it, you know YOU'RE the most sought after player in the draft, and you also know the raiders have no QB, and if they take you they obviously STILL won't, so do you really wanna go there? Especially having to be on a team with a guy who will just whine everytime you get passes instead of him, creating more media turmoil and locker room problems, etc etc. Oakland just seems like a BAD situation for Johnson, so if I were him I'd set my price very high. That way, they either choose Russell over you because you cost too much, or they pay you the HUGE amount and show you that YOU are their guy and they are commited to building around YOU.
Now, it seems very "Eli Manning"-like, and I hated what he did, but this is slightly different. I see Oakland being a bad situation for the kid and that's a shame because I wanna see him succeed. He'd be much better in Tampa Bay where they already have capable QBs and RBs to complement the passing game. Plus, this is him setting the bar high as a slight deterrent, not getting drafted by a team and refusing to play for them and forcing a trade, like Eli (and a few others) did. It's not necessarily right, but it's what I'd do if I were in his position.
That being said, I HOPE Oakland takes him, because that increases our chances of getting Quinn
