Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports free agent LB Junior Seau (Dolphins) told a friend he has spoken to the Oakland Raiders, but he might retire from the NFL.

Just thought it is cool Seau still gets mentioned around...

That would stink for all the charger fans........that would be like Zach going to Buffalo.

hahah they need all the LB help they can get :tantrum:

Seau needs to retire and be done with it.

He has nothing left in him and at best he will probably be a role player towards the young guys and play ST's.

i think seau will just retire, i dont think he will play for the rival raiders....he had a great career and deff a HOF type of career but its sad to see it end this way.....i hope the chargers atleast give him a one day type of deal

Yeah or like Thurman Thomas playing in Miami...

Ha Ha! That would never happen...

Wait...

alright...if seaus gonna come backl he should only come back for a super bowl ready team. the raiders are far from that.

I think Junior should retire, but if he does play, I think Oakland would be a great fit. Given the talent (or lack thereof) they have on D, he could be a major contributor if healthy. They are also a defense that would benefit greatly from his leadership, work ethic, and attitude.

He's a class guy and I hate to see him hanging on when its clear he's past his prime and unable to stay healthy for long stretches. However, if he really is determined to play, I think this would be about as good a fit as he could find. Unfortunately, I don't see a superbowl ready team likely to have a roster spot for him.

that makes sense on the raiders part but seau would practically be dissing san diego if he goes to oakland.i hope that move doesnt happen
