Rams Interested In Ramsey - And Openly Admit It

We need to hope that a starting CB or two go down with non contact lower extremity injuries in Training Camp.

We pay some of his salary, they (or another team) send us back a 3rd round pick, or give him the Jimmy Butler treatment that he got from the Heat and make this a miserable wasted year for him near the end of his prime. Play or go home.

This whole “work with the player to find a preferable trade destination” thing doesn’t sit right with me here. I’d have been okay with going that route with Calais midseason 2024, or an actual professional like Terron. Ramsey? Send his ass to Cleveland.

That’s my personal stance. The player friendly Dolphins will likely cave though.
ohh agree. if ramsey was a douche here, they have no obligation to look after him and send him where he wants to go. in fact, the reason you send him to NFL siberia is to finally send a message to your own players. if they take a worse deal to look after ramsey, that is corporate malfeasance and tells you the organization does not get it. they remain too concerned about being liked. sometimes tough love is a better remedy

Has there been any rumors of a team becides LAR to be interested. If not this could drag out awhile.

not that i have heard. per the op, i am still stunned mcvey came out and said this, because it only drives interest in the player. there is no upside to showing interest. i still wonder if it is real interest, or he is just friendly w ramsey and is trying to drum up interest in him around the league so it is easier to get a deal done and he can get out of miami. it is weird, but it helps us at the end of the day so i am not complaining

I would take the right offer for Tyreek Hill as well.
I would still like to keep Tyreek for another year.

I think we will be in for a rude awakening to see what this offense will look like without him.

He doesn't really have any trade value anyway so we might as well keep him for another year.

Definitely a better team with him.

Its been said that this offense is built on Tyreek and the threat of Tyreek.
Agree. McDaniel had a plan for Hill that, initially, was almost impossible to stop. And so much fun to watch.

After a slow start (Tua’s injury may have factored in), McDaniel found ways to get Smith involved. He's now quite a weapon at tight end.

Westbrook-Ikine and Gordon are two others who could potentially impact the offense. Of course, there's also Achane.

I think the team is better served spreading the ball around. Although, that could be hard for Hill to accept.

Apparently the Bengals are also interested
tyreek or ramsey? must be ramsey given they are set at WR, but i cannot imagine that owner taking on more salary, but you never know. would be a good spot for ramsey bengals could be pretty good. maybe that owner would shell out for 1 year. other option is dolphins eat more money in exchange for a higher draft pick, which would be smart. just buy the higher pick and i think post june 1 we will have the flexibility to do it

I think he's a good fit in Cincy but we'll see what happens. The important thing IMO is getting multiple parties interested so we can get a better return.
