Not saying that Gase is a lousy coach or that his stay in Miami will be short, but clearly his ability to make the Dolphins into a Super Bowl contender on offensive ingenuity and a gigantic reserve of self-confidence no longer sells around here.
There always will be hot new coaches. What’s needed in Miami is a system that consistently works, even when the flame begins to die down.
Fair or not, it’s difficult to say right now that Gase would get the same out of a guy like Goff that McVay is getting. As the weeks go by and the losses pile up, Gase is looking more and more like a coach who is discovering how tough this job really is, and one who isn’t quite sure what to do about it.

I'll say one thing, Jared Goff has impressed the hell out of me. I didn't pay much attention to him in college because there was no reason to. I'm glad we faced him in his first career start because he would carve us up this year. As a fan of QB's, his mechanics are a joy to see.

The basis for the article is trash and not worth reading.

Rams are built better & have more depth.

Gurley probably the best RB in the league,Watkins trade benefit them in a big way they have Donald on defense + other good defensive players.

They hit on players on the draft look at Kupp how good he's been for them + no one major has been injured.

Gase has had a tough year imo...Tannehill, 2nd round rookie LB, Lippett, Timmons going awol, the oline coach sniffing white powder, the oline being decimated with injuries.

I do tho feel with all these excuses he losing the team they seem to be going through weird motions undisciplined & not playing with the fire from last year

Things look bright in LA no doubt by lets see sustained success. We've seen many first year coaches come in and have success only to end up out of work in a few season. We've seen 2 right here (Gase is still here though). First year success is meaningless, let's see it over time.

The Bills and Sean McDermott were the flavor about a month ago. That ended quick.

One important fact to remember about young coaches is sometimes they have early success but eventually the rest of the league will figure them out. I like McVay and what he's doing. Goff's improvement shows the difference a good coach can have on a QB. Let's not forget the vast improvement we saw in Tannehill last season before his injury. But defenses will figure McVay out and success will become harder. Let's see how the Rams do when all their young talent begins demanding their second contracts. They will have to make some hard personnel decisions because you can't keep all those players.

Yea, I wonder how great Sean looks if... Jared Goff goes down for the season...O-linemen start getting hurt... the NFL forces the team to travel more miles in the 1st three weeks, then most teams will travel the whole season...one of your coaches is caught snorting some substance up his nose...one of his key defensive players that you got in the draft, goes down for the season...another key defensive player decides to go awol for a few games early in the season because he is home sick of his former team...Lose a home game in London...have a Natural Disaster mess with the schedule, and minds of players who have homes in the state they play at.

Yea, after this off-season with Gase (Who is not going anywhere, by the way), when Tannehill comes back, they fix the issues that did hurt the team this year, let us find out if the people will still continue to like Sean McVay more the Adam Gase.

Missed again?...I think the Dolphins missed again ...Ohhhhh

I read that Mcvay has them line up quickly so he can see how the defense sets up and tells Goff what play to run before they cut him off.

If a coach looses the locker room then he is gone. The way our players are performing its certainly looking that way possibly. Any coach gets about 3 years to show his goods and after that its usually to late to get a chance to turn things around. Gase knows this in the back of his mind.

Yawn. Another bandwagon article.

Lol! You beat me to it and I really wish this articles would bring up the previous coaches and players that were Gifts to the NFL and now are nowhere or certainly not even close to the hype they received.

Now it's McVay! I'm not saying he's not going to continue to be successful going forward. But would it really surprise anyone if he isn't?

Okay then aren't you 1 year too early for this post?

IF he has lost the locker room then next year is probably already toast. So I am probably not early.
