I realized my favorite aspect of Henne's ability is the fact now that he is our starting QB the entire field is back in play. We have not had a QB since Dan that has the ability to throw the ball from sideline to sideline on any given play. From Feidler to Pennington the deep out, and long ball were forgotten passes. I also love when Henne misses deep it is long, and not picked off like every time Pennington tried a deep ball.

Everyone needs to relax that Jacksonville is still ahead of us in the wild card hunt. They have remaining games against Indy and New England. If they win out and we win out we will win our division, and they will save the '72 Dolphins.

Where is Jason Taylor? I have seen his name in the starting line up every week, but he has been invisible on the field. This is sad to me, as he is one of my favorite Dolphins all time, but I think it is time to replace him in the starting line up with Anderson or Wake, and I do not see him being resigned. This sucks as he was having a great season through the 2nd Jets game, but has hit a wall since then.

This is the week we need to give Wake a chance to play on running and passing plays. Johnson is to fast, for everyone in the NFL, but way to fast for Porter and JT. We need to let Anderson and Wake try to protect the perimeter this week.

What went down with Davis last week? It was obvious that it was a disciplinary move keeping Vontae out of the first series, but no has even asked Sparano why Davis had to sit for a series.

How great is it that Sparano is 6-0 in December? Ugh I got so used to and so annoyed that our December melt down were so regular you could set your watch by it. Even as far back as Shula we would collapse in December, so this is very welcome change.

Last but not least kudos to our defense. They went from 4th quarter joke, the worst in the NFL, to posting back to back 4th quarter shut outs. New England and Jacksonville both have good offenses so this made it even more impressive, and when you throw in how horrible our offense was in the 4th last week, and if the defense can keep this up for another 3 games Paul P. may save his job.

Chad Henne - Passes thrown >21 yards, 3-28 1td 2 int.
Chad Pennington (2008) Passes thrown >21 yards 15-34 7td 3 int.

Ignoring all the facts and your post is solid.

Using logic and facts is no way to have an argument around here. You need to get more people to say what you are saying to win!

You are missing the 4ints Chad tossed in our playoff loss. Your stat does not take in to consideration 15 yard passes that travel 30+ yard because they are sideline to sideline. Henne hit two of thise for first down last week. One to Cam and one to Hartline, and just Missed one to Bess. This was play that did not exist when our other QBs were back there. Point is he has a huge arm, and when he does miss long it typically hits the ground 5 yars past his WR. When Pennington or Feidler threw the ball 30+ yards it looked like a punt that could be fair caught. I do not have mind numbing stats, but I do watch every game.

sometimes the threat of the deep ball is as good as throwing it. When a D has to cover the deep routes by keeping safties back this opens up other areas on the field. teams have to respect Henne arm which will open up the running game and shorter routes. Stats can be misleading
