Yes, it is the Randy Moss you're thinking of.

Inta Juice and Randy Moss Sponsoring Haas, Green at Brickyard 400: One of the nation's fastest-growing smoothie and juice bar franchises is heading to the nation's most prestigious speedway. Inta Juice has signed an agreement to sponsor Haas CNC Racing and the #66 Inta Juice Chevy driven by Jeff Green in this weekend's Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Randy Moss, professional football player and Inta Juice executive, will grace the quarter panels of the #66 Inta Juice Chevrolet. This will mark the first time that the likeness of a NFL player has been on a Nextel Cup car. Inta Juice has launched aggressive growth goals that includes targeting nearly 100 total stores nationwide, either open or with franchise agreements in place, by the end of 2006. The company also plans to double in size by the end of 2008. Inta Juice is looking to grow their brand in front of the 250,000 fans that are expected to be at Sunday's race. They couldn't have at least bought a race on a decent car? Heck, I'd rather be on Kyle Petty's car. I think they still have unsold races for it.

Alternatively, they could have probably bought at least a couple of races on a car that is even more a field filler.

I don't get this buy.

They need more minorities and women in NASCAR.....now it is just a bunch of redneck good old boys. I rarely watch the races, except for the Daytona 500.

Its actually changed a whole lot over the past few years. I always go to the Pepsi 400, and the past few years I have seen more and more minorities attending.

Was anyone else taken aback by this:

Randy Moss, professional football player and Inta Juice executive,

Randy Moss...an executive?!? This is a guy who probably thinks MBA stands for "Major Bad @$$". I'd be stunned if Moss could balance his checkbook, let alone help run a freakin' company.

As for Roman's point, NASCAR is doing much more to cater to the female audience. It's still about 98% white, as far as I can tell, but they're definitely doing more to bring female fans into the sport.

i saw moss on some sportscenter segment sitting in on some big meetings and behind a desk, it was pretty surreal. he seems to have a much more levelhead nowadays.
