RANDY MUELLER's time to shine

It's now Randy Mueller time. I have full confidence in him towards the offseason and I'm sure he will make some great pickups for us.

i thought he drafted Delhomme... i guess delhomme got to NO 2 years ahead of him. ..

He knows how to get value out of players.Imagine getting a first rounder from Chicago for Rick Mirer and two No 1 picks for Ricky. Its tough to get a second round pick for a top RB nowadays.

There is a common denominator to those trades. Can you guess what it is ?

We are in good hands with Mule. There will be no more giveaways of draft picks and when we get rid of players we will get something back in return.

Also he has an eye for FA prospects.

Exactly. I'm thinking there's actually several vets on the trading block/or once the trading period begins. Don't be surprised if our smaller LBs like moore

& pope are dealt to teams with new DCs who favor the cover 2 such as M. Tomlin-MIN. He coached in TB last yr.

Wow I had no idea that his track record was that good, I'm glad he's with us, he sure knows how to evaluate talent.

The board is set. The pieces are moving.

Correct me If I'm wrong but was'nt Wanny and SPielman on the otherside of both of those trades. While I think we are in great hands with Saban and Mueller calling the shots, it is unfortunate that suckers like Wanny and Spielman are a rarity in the NFL. Though it would be nice if they were on another team so Mueller could make fools of them for a third time, especially considering how much damage they did to this team.

I feel fairly confident that we will get some candidates for a QB who can be here for 6-10 years this offseason, whether it be undrafted FA, FA, RFA or an early or late draft pick, I think we will have 2 QB's that Mueller think can be starters.

I am guessing WannSpeil were involved.

Yeah, maybe Wannstadt...he might have been HC at Chicago in 97, and definately gave up the 2 1sts for Ricky here in Miami...I will conceed, I was thinking Ditka cause of the acquistion of Ricky to Saints, and thought he may have had something to do with the windy city going with Mirer, but he most likely wasnt there then.
