Rank Miami's Last 10 First Rd Picks...

Sorry, I can't say based solely on their careers with Miami.

We have 2 busts in Jordan and Harris, 4 solid NFL starters in Odrick, James, Parker, & Wilkins, and 3 Probowlers in Pouncey, Tunsil, & Tannehill, & 1 All Pro in Fitzpatrick.

Drafting doesn't look like the problem imo... it's been coaching and development.
That’s cool. It’s not the players fault where they were drafted. The point of this thread is how every one feels these players did for Miami on the field. Not what they’re doing now with another team, not based on all the picks Miami got for them, not based on the pro bowls they’re getting with another team. Just simply did they produce well for Miami?

There’s some under-inflated views too.

Stop with the nonsense, the guy is a good player. And getting better.

He is what he always was and will be. Teams that draft that in the 1st round deserve all the mediocrity coming their way.

The best part is he'll be 28 when it comes time to sign that first extension. A 24 year old DT who doesn't get to the QB in the top half of rd 1 ... do you think that's how teams become SB contenders?

Wilkins is solid but he definitely isn’t elite. Solid players should come from rounds 2 and 3. Round 1s need to be elite

Based on Miami careers, per OP:

1. Pouncey
2. Parker
3. Tunsil
4. Tannehill
5. James
6. Odrick
7. Wilkins (should move up in time)
8. Fitzpatrick
9. Harris
10. Jordan

1. Mike Pouncey- 3 pro bowls in 7 seasons
2. Laremy Tunsil- 3 great seasons before being traded for a king's ransom
3. DeVante Parker- still on the active roster and has had his moments
4. Ryan Tannehill- some good moments in his 6 years as starter
5. Christian Wilkins- still on the active roster and is poised for a breakout in year 3
6. Jared Odrick- had his moments here but ultimately played better in Jacksonville
7. JaWuan James- meh during his time in Miami and got overpaid by Denver
8. Minkah Fitzpatrick- (wasn't here long enough)
9. Dion Jordan
10. Charles Harris (could flip these last 2)
