Morall and Griese had the best running game in NFL History but i think griese is still better than pennington. Im just glad we dont have to watch QB's like lemon,Feely,Ferrote,Green,Lucas theres just too many.

This is misleading because if you subtract our recent QB woes (since 2000) then we have had very few Qbs. Before 2000 we have a history of Qbs starting for us year after year like Griese and Marino. I mean from 1965 - 2000 we really only had Griese, Woodley, and Marino as QBs

Right now Penny is a 4-4 QB who has yet to lead us to the playoffs. He has had a lot of help from our D in the 4 wins. I put Fiedler ahead of him as well, as he got us to the playoffs. So I go Marino, Griese, Morall, Woodley, Fiedler, then Penny

no way i put fiedler ahead of penny. woodley is debatable but illl stick to my guns on penny being better. The one guy you did not mention that I am on the fence about is Don Strock
Strock was a great back up and with us forever. Right now Penny has not even come close to what Fiedler has done as far as from a Dolphins stand point.
I mean seriously, I am glad we are winning and in the playoff hunt, it's freaking awesome. However some are acting like Penny is all of that and a bag of chips. He has been very up and down, but avoided huge mistakes. Our D is just as responsible for us being in the mix. Penny and Fiedler are really similar QB's. They won't wow you but kept us in games with solid D play.

do you think you could of taken fiedler at 32 yrs old thrown him onto the Dolphins two weeks before the opener and he could of done for us what Pennington has done for us so far?
im saying alll things being equal just swap out qb's
Fiedlers first year with us, he had a hip injury and didn't really play until the last pre season game. He led us to the playoffs that year, so yes.

Pennington is a true starting QB in the NFL. He is playing amazingly. He is much better than Fiedler. For how long has he tormented us with the Jets? How can anyone say Feidler is better? I remember everytime Feidler would throw the ball I got scared. The reason he took us to the playoffs is we had an amazing defense back then. Also Ricky running like crazy 40-50 times a game for 2000+ yards helps also. Pennington wins hands down.
Who was Fiedlers RB? Maybe on D he had more talent. Fiedlers over all record kills Penny to. We are 4-4, not 7 and 1. Penny has not done anything special. He plays mistake free and keeps us in games. That was a nice drive to end the Denver game, but he was very up and down that game too. We had a pic 6 on D too. Some of these threads are really funny. I guess after being 1-15 and sucking for so many years, average QB play looks like walking on water and a 4-4 record looks like the 72 Dolphins.
