Ranking the best backfields

I am excited to see they gave a such a good grade.. Most of the time it seems like we don't get that much respect.

The fins should be ranked higher than these teams ranked ahead of them.

6. Pittsburgh
At Qb Roethlisberger is ranked a little ahead of Pennington because Roethlisberger has the two rings. However I feel it is very close because Pennington had a better regular season last year. At Rb Ricky/Ronnie destroys Willie Parker and Mendenhall. Edge Fins.

8. Green Bay Packers
At Qb they are ranked very similar. Pennington had a better season last year mainly because the fins did a lot better than the Packers, but Rodgers put up better numbers. At Rb Ricky/Ronnie destroys Ryan Grant. Edge Fins.

11. Carolina Panthers
At Qb Pennington has to be ranked higher than Delholmme. Delholmme has sucked since they went to the super bowl. At Rb it is close but I would give the edge to the fins because Ronnie is the best back out of the 4. Edge Fins.

I personally also think they should be ranked ahead of the Falcons too, but I could see where someone would give the edge to the falcons. The fins should be atleast in the top 10 with a above average Qb and one of the top running back combos in the nfl.

Giants at #2??????????????????????????????????????????

This is what I was talking about when I said in another thread that Eli Manning is overrated. And I think that their runningbacks get too much credit too. Is it really that every back on their roster is simply amazing...or do they just have the best O-Line in football? I say it's unlikely that all their backs are all-pro's and maybe they should start looking towards their line that is opening monster-sized holes for them.

Other ridiculous rankings;
Colts at #10? If Brady is good enough to elevate Maroney and an older Fred Taylor to top-5, how is Manning not good enough be top-5 with Joseph Addai AND Donald Brown??

Jags at 32? Who in the world wouldn't choose Garrard/MJD over Derek Anderson/Jamal Lewis or......

Rodgers/Grant? top-10? and they expect to be taken seriously??

Has Matt Hasselbeck really fallen that far? #31 with any running back...i don't think so.

How is Adrian Peterson and NO QB at #16 and Clinton Portis and Jason Campbell at #27??

Tampa Bay at #21? they are hands down #32 IMO.

I agree with everything else but you can not say ronnie is better then deanglo when he put up numbers like this last year 273 carries for 1,515 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns.

Agreed, this ranking is a complete joke, much like all the the sportingnews rankings being posted as of late. How in the hell Rodgers/Grant is ahead of Manning/Addai, Cutler/Forte, Pennington/Brown/Williams, Delhomme/Williams/Stewart is beyond me. If the Patriots can crack the top 5 because of Brady, why is the Vikings 16th with the the best RB in the NFL? Titans 18th? And the fact that the Jaguars are 32nd is a complete joke.

Don't they refer to Ryan Grant as a top ten back in the article? Where does that conclusion come from?
