This was posted in another thread but I thought I needed to put this on its own thread, just to get it out and for others to share in the missery because we love company!

I think we SHOULD have tried to "suck for luck". I mean how F***** up is this that the one team that has had a franchise QB for 14 years is now in the running to get ANOTHER franchise QB for at least a decade to come? The gods truly hate Miami IMHO.

As usual we are left with the scraps, regardless of the fact that Manning not wanting to come here. I bet if we could have woo'd him like Denver or Tenn did he would have been much more inclined to come. I hope this Flynn deal works out, hell we might even lose out on him, then what? Hope for the 3rd best rookie to possibly be available at the 8th overall pick? Or just start Moore and tank the season.

They're too cheap to get a GREAT RT or another great not decent or just good WR in FA, I know you "win through the draft" but you cant get all your pieces through the draft, unless you have a 4 or 5 year plan which means more losing to come, how exciting is that?

This franchise is so sad, its becoming harder and harder to stick with the team that I've grown all my of my life loving. I'm never this negative about my team but I'm fed up, everyone has a breaking point and it seems that there's just nothing left to root for anymore.

I hope we all get proven they have a master plan and that they know what their doing and we can get back to some constant winning again.

P.S. Sorry about my rant, needed to get that off my chest lol.

Another 'Suck for Luck' thread........Yay. Tell the players they should have just quit.

Its not just a suck for luck thread, its a "we seem to have a plan, but we dont really and are hoping for the best" thread

So sucking for an unproven college QB would have been the better plan? I could imagine Sparano giving that speech "Hey guys, go out there and try to keep it close, but not to close."

Isn't there a lot of "hope" in thinking that Luck is the next John Elway?

No team plans to lose..They just deal with it after its done...

It's really funny how people are getting all upset that we're rebuilding and not reloading. That's what happens when you abandon a coach who was building a good team already, and not give him enough time to follow through with the plan; as long as we have an owner like Ross, we'll be perpetually rebuilding because he'll never allow a true rebuilding process to come full circle

My problem is we've been rebuilding for 4/5 years now, now we have to add to that. To the homers that are still positive, I hope your right.

You mean to tell me that Indy, with practically the entire team still in tact last season besides Manning, didnt tank the season? You honestly believe they couldn't have won more games? I'm almost 100% sure they tanked it. They won 2 games to not make it look too obvious and to not have the media on their backs about purposely tanking, but it doesnt make it any better.

If not suck for luck, why not put all your chips on the table for Manning, like Tenn and Den have? So instead settling for an unproven QB in Flynn sounds more reasonable to you?
