Here is some of what head coach Adam Gase said on Tuesday, before the Ravens game:

• The Dolphins embrace close games instead of worrying about failing.

• Byron Maxwell did a good job last year. He battled and played well at the end of last season. But the team has a lot of young guys.

• Nothing went wrong. There are a lot of good players. A lot of guys you like. He didn’t play special teams. You don’t get opportunities.

I like the Moore tidbit the best out of all those. ..

Maybe he does. Every game like that costs me another 5 years of life expectancy. Between the Hurricanes and the Dolphins this year I may not make it to xmas this year.

btw, just to put it out there. Weather in Baltimore for the game should be in the mid 50's and cloudy. Type of weather you'd like to be able to run the football. Hope the O-line do better in this game

Ozzy rules!!

Would be nice for the team not to 'embrace' close games, lol. Feel free to mix in a blowout once in a while, fellas!

I'm with ya. I said a while back, winning close games is a step historically poor teams make as they get better. Miami did it last year and this year. The down side is, winning close games against poor teams is a sign of STILL playing down to opponents. That has to change. The next step I want to see is an occasional easy win. Yes, a win is a win. OTOH, nothing but close wins is no indicator of a quality team. At some point, even average teams win by 14-17 points.
