Rapoport: Gaine a finalist for GM position (no surprise there)

We can add another ring to the circus if Gaine turns us down, lol

Best fit

Just ****ing do it.

I want Gaine.... I said this before farmer pulled out btw.

I don't want Gaine. He was part of Ireland's crew. We need someone from the outside to come in and bring fresh ideas to the team. This reminds of Spielman all over again and we all know how that went.

It seems like there is a new "leading candidate" every few hours. Considering this organization has become such a circus, tomorrow's leading candidate will be Bozo. But not to worry, he will probably turn us down.

Headline should read...only one left.

Why does everyone dismiss Hickey? He has good experience and sounds like he's a good fit for the GM or Assistant GM roles.

I don't think Hickey is a finalist

Whoop-dee-do!

Nothing excites me about Gaine.

Hasn't he been apart of getting our crappy team to this point?

All this tells me is that no GM wants Philbin as a coach.

Not fussed and heck Last thing I heard said about him was that the bucs are going to fire him after the draft

Ross: oh snap, everybody backed out? ok, who's that guy downstairs.. Brain? Grain? or something? tell him he can be GM. but he still has to get coffee and clean toilets.

I will talk about something I do know personally, last year I was the assistant-manager at my job. The manager got fired and I was given the job. I can confirm you that the assistant is often the best person to know what was going wrong with previous leadership, we were part of the discussions but at the end of the day, the manager has final say. When the assistant gets the big pants, he assures continuity (giving confidence to other employees) but corrects what he knows was going wrong before. He also knows everybody's agenda internally because several employees were talking confidentially to the assistant before and giving him precious infos on several subjects/people...

I'm all in for Gaine
