Rate the 2014-15 rookie class for the Miami Dolphins. This is a star-rating poll: four stars means Steller; one star means Pathetic. (of course Laudry is a four star player, but what about the rest of the class?). Comment on your choices...

-drafted-

Ja’Wuan James
Jarvis Landry (all-rookie team)
Billy Turner
Walt Aikens
Arthur Lynch
Jordan Tripp
Matt Hazel
Terrence Fede

-undrafted-

Damien Williams
Chris McCain

Atleast a B+
Gotta see how Turner, Fede, Mccain, and some others play this season to fully decide

I would say an A. To get 2 rookies starting, plus positive impacts from a few others, Hickey nailed it. This was though a strong draft. Be interesting to see how he does in future drafts but it was impressive

Hate to be that guy but it's too early to make a final call. As of right now I would say B+

In general I'd say B- at most. Landry was a big hit and James was a very good RT but not very good on the left side. Fede and Williams did some good things. We need to be careful giving high grades so fast. Compared to Ireland this was good but a great draft would be 83 with marino, Clayton and Roby.....or getting Taylor,Gardner,Madison and Thomas. 2014 draft class did ok but too many incomplete cards to make it more than a B- imo

It has to be a B- or C+.

The undrafted guys get a B. All had some impact.

I want to see A LOT more of Turner, Lynch, Aikens, Fede and Tripp... It might turn into an A+ draft if a few of those guys break out in the next coming years.

INC (incomplete). Way to early to evaluate some of the second and third day draft picks especially from the small school picks.

Probably a B. Outside of the top 2 picks we really didn't get much production from the rest. I'm giving it a B only because Landry and James did more than just hold their own, they played really well.

But I can't help but think that if Ireland had this same draft it would get blasted by some of the same people giving it an A. The 2008 draft looked amazing after the first year. We all know what happened there...

If Ireland had been here for the draft we certainly would not have picked James in the first and most likely would of had a bust for a second. Other than that Ireland's picks would be great!!:chuckle:

There were two starters, several full time special teamers, and several solid back up bodies which showed some potential. There was also a couple MIA. You got a lot of contributions from top to bottom in that list. Based on pure talent acquisition I'd say a solid B, on overall play probably C-, on team contribution a B+ since Miami was thin to begin with. Standouts include James, Landry, and Williams. No shows include Turner, Lynch, Hazel.

Grade is incomplete. Too early to tell. James is promising but we don't know yet what we have, Landry is solid and the little bit I saw of Fede got me pretty excited about his potential. The rest we have no idea about.

Of the undrafted guys McCain showed some potential but couldn't stay healthy and Williams was impressive as a receiver, good in pass pro but still needs polish as a runner.

I would give Turner and Lynch an F and Tripp gets a D, so that should put everything else at about a C overall.

It's looking like a C+/B- type draft. Have to evaluate it with what other teams accomplished in the draft. Unfortunately, the Dolphins aren't operating in a vacuum where they are the only team getting better.

That said, I'm am thrilled with how Landry played. He brings energy and playmaking ability to the offense. James started every game and was reliable. Certainly not a star, but should keep improving. I really like Turner's talent and if he emerges as a solid starter this grade goes up.

Dolphins did well with collegiate free agents as McCain, Williams and Johnson all look like contributors.
