Alright folks, we have seen at least some positives from all three running backs this season but who should be getting the most touches and in what order seems to be a big topic of much debate from media and fans alike.

So, let's rate them in order of who you guys think should be Options 1, 2, and 3.

Love all three, but at this point I think it should go 1) Achane 2) Wright, with Mostert as a goal line specialist.
This.

Achane is the most dynamic in the run and pass game and a threat to score from anywhere on the field.

Wright should get worked in to take Mostert’s reps and he and Achane provide a 1_2 punch.

Mostert should be used selectively - he still has a lot to offer but the RB room is crowded. He was used nicely vs AZ.

Don’t forget Jeff Wilson either.

PS - while Ingold is a nice player, no need to get the ball to him. Let him block. Those carries and catches should go to Achane/Wright/Mostert as they are more of a threat to make someone miss etc. Ingold gets the ball once in a blue moon going forward.

Give them each ten touches a game. The goal of this offense going forward should be to run the ball 30 times a game.

Give Achane more targets in the passing game.

Protect Tua and bring the damn safeties down running the ball so Tua can throw 20 to 30 air yards down field where he one of the most accurate QBs in the NFL.

This team needs a change of Identity.

All three are good, but I too would go with the youth of Wright and Achane. I would actually be looking to trade Mostert to a rb needy team that might be in position to make a playoff push. You're not going to get a ton for Mostert, but at this point I would take a day 3 pick.

Achane and Wright should be splitting the duties. Wright should be the primary ball carrier, Achane should get more receptions. Both should touch the ball 16-18 times a game.
Pretty much this.

Not a bad thought. If we have an injury to Wright or Achane you still have Wilson Jr.

This. I like Achane with 10 carries and 5-6 receptions. Jaylen Wright should be the lead back, with Mostert as a goal line back since he has a knack for finding the endzone.

I agree Achane, Wright and then I would use Mostert at the goal line.

Darn, I just realized I should have added a poll to the original post. :bang:

Achane is the best back and its not even close, 7 yards on avg every time he touches the ball. Wright obvious number 2, Mostert only gets carries because hes buddies with Mcdiddy.

Wright is averaging almost 1 yard more per rush than Achane, just an FYI.

Both players are fantastic IMO and I loved both coming out of college. Both of them are exactly who I had hoped they’d be.

Mostert is a reserve. Has been since the end of last year.

I am not someone who’s called for McDaniel to be fired but if I was going to fire him, Jaylen Wright’s limited touches would be the biggest determining factor.

Definitely Achane, Mostert, then Wright. Wright will be very good but he needs the dixie chicks to be successful at the moment. I mean has he even had a run where he picked up tough yards?
