Rate the Running Backs: Mostert, Achane, Wright

Both players are fantastic IMO and I loved both coming out of college. Both of them are exactly who I had hoped they’d be.

Mostert is a reserve. Has been since the end of last year.

I am not someone who’s called for McDaniel to be fired but if I was going to fire him, Jaylen Wright’s limited touches would be the biggest determining factor.

Wright reminds me of Aaron jones and I say that in a very good way. Similar body lean similar body style
 
Achane has exceptional vision but should be more of a a #2 back in a pairing.

Id start wright and pair him with achane and a big body back and let mostert walk this offseason.

Jeff Wilson should have been gone after last year

I have been very clear on my opinion on Wright from the jump and all he has done is Shine!!!
 
Achane lacks vision and pass pro.

Wright is the most well rounded and complete.

Holy crap. I have no idea what you just said means. Dixie Chicks? Wright hasn’t picked up tough yards? These gummies are strong AF.
 
I would like to see Wright @ RB1, at least for a game. I love all three but Achane needs to take a breather before McD wears him out.

He needs wide open spaces!! Look at his runs this week. First contact and he dropped like he was shot. Achane runs harder. Look at that first down where Mostert went through 3 defenders with no tush push. He got stood up but still got there. Wright is not getting that first down in that same situation.
 
In the order you listed. On a 1-10 scale.

I would get get rid of all three.

Get some mean, eff you, short, Barry Sanders-like backs to replace all of them.

If it was my job to find them, I would. It isn’t, so we have to defer to the present mofos who are paid to do that.
 
All 3 are solid options

Would like to see Achane featured more in the passing game and Wright as RB #1 for awhile. No reason both can't be on the field at the same time

Achane is a weapon.....use him in the slot or out of the backfield in the short to medium passing game

I think all 3 are really good players. Definitely the best unit on the team.
