I took the liberty to rank our QBs in numerous categories. Keep in my these are my ratings. See what you think.

I rated Culpepper retaining 85% of his prior mobility.

Lemons ratings are based on that fact he is green and unknown. His true score will be determined in QB camp.

Based on all the above the ranking can/will change baed on QB camp.

This chart (IMO) proves Cameron needs to run and open competition in QB camp and let the winner prove it on the field.

Whatever,,culpepper will be a bad azz lean fast 29 year old three time probowler first string, with a chip on his shoulder miami dolphin QB and Cleo Lemon is a 27 year old star thats waiting to get his chance,if daunte gets hurt we will all be drinking sweet lemonaid.,,,,we are set at QB,don't need to draft oneunless its in the 6th or 7th,we don't need to trade for one unless your the worst Gm in the history of the game,

People, we have a chance to have and all signs point to a HEALTHY DAUNTE CULPEPPER,just forget about last year, you know,i know and our whole team knew he was'nt healthy,,he wanted to be out there for US,CAN'T SOME OF YOU UNDERSTAND THAT,in essense he risked his career for the dolphin uniform, after two years of working out he's going to be the BIONIC MAN i'll tell ya.

As far as lemon he showed me a lot in the indy game, the man played BETTER than any of the qb's played all season except for daunte's first half against pitt.
that was his first start,i broke down the film on him and i saw something great, not good, GREAT,HE'S A VERY SMART QB, who has excellent pocket awareness, the guy was so cool when things broke down and is always looking downfield when scrambling, also very good at throwing the ball from the pocket.

Go ahead disagree with me,you'll be the one on the record and so will i if i'am wrong, but i have to say, anyone who's betting against a 250lb super talented QB with a rocket arm and a massive chip on his shoulder aint no true fan of the miami dolphins, there's got to be something wrong witcha.

Huh? I got lost at the barber shop. Chart is tough to read and tougher to grasp. Nice research though, I think . . .

Look Out!

How dare you be optimistic? I truly love your thinking, but be prepared, these guys are about to crucify you, INCOMING!

Culpepper hasn't played good football in quite some time. He needs to get his act together fast. This Guy has been the king of throwing ints, fumbles, and sacks away lately.... I support whomever is gonna start. But we have a new coach and a fresh breath of air, and i have faith in his decision.

C Pep has the arm no doubt. But like Saban said and many people have questioned "Is his head all together?"

I believe Cam will play the best QB....regardless of whom he is.

i totally agree with you on that. I do hope that it is Daunte though. I think he fits well into our offense. we just need to build up our line and i think that is maybe what we should look for in the draft. unless of course Ginn falls to the 9 spot in which case we would be crazy to pass on his talent.

Wow...hard to argue with such logic. First of all Culpepper is 30, not 29. So we are to forget about last year? That leaves us with the 2005 version of Culpepper...nice. You may want to look at the Detriot game to see the best game any of our QBs played last year...you know we actually "WON" that game. I like how you think the best game a QB played for us was the first half or game where Choke-pepper lost it for us in the 4th quarter. You do scare the heck out of me that I will be on record. Hopefully, this won't cost me a job down the road. I am really worried...

But the best of all is that if I don't support a player whom my favorite team has spent a 2nd round pick, $8 million (so far, another $5.5 if makes roster this year), and significantly affects the teams salary cap and has produced in return a 1-3 record, 2 TD passes, 1 TD run, 3 fumbles, 21 sacks, and a lost season I am not a true fan of the Miami Dolphins...brilliant! Thanks for letting me know the criteria for a true Dolphin fan. :shakeno:

Sounds like Cameron may not be a true Dolphin fan bc he is going to let the starting QB earn it.

Ouch. Thats gonna leave a mark.

I'll do my own version

Arm Strength:

Daunte
Cleo
Joey

Height:

Daunte
Joey
Cleo

Weight:

Daunte
Joey
Cleo

Throws INTs:

Daunte
Joey
Cleo (Because he's an unknown but could EASILY jump past Joey)

Mobliity:

Cleo
Daunte
Joey

Reads defenses:

Daunte
Joey
Cleo (sorry just not as experienced as the other two guys)

Throw Accurately:

Daunte
Cleo
Joey

Pass Completion rate:

Daunte
Cleo
Joey

Mechanics:

Daunte (other than 06)
Cleo
Joey

Team Player:

Joey
Cleo
Daunte

Veteran Experience:

Daunte
Joey
Cleo

So if you get 3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd it comes out to.

Daunte: 30
Cleo: 18
Joey: 18

Sounds about right, but Lemon leaves a lot of points off the board just because he doesn't have a lot of starts.
