In 2008, there were 13 rookies drafted or signed. To the FO's credit, 12 are on today's roster, Parmele the exception. No one yet knows how these players will turn out. Some, we've seen play a lot, some, a little, some, in pre-season and what we read.

Based on what you now know, how do you think these players will turn out in the next year or two? Better or worse than you first thought? Will they be: PBP- Pro Bowl potential, GSS- good solid starter, SR- starter or in the rotation, DST- depth or special teams, or 0- gone from team?

Long - PBP

Henne - GSS

Thomas - PBP

Murphy - DST (this can change if Smiley's shoulder remains an issue)

Hilliard - DST (this can change as well because Polite sucks as a lead blocker)

Haynos - 0

Garner - DST

Carpenter - GSS

Merling - GSS

Langford - PBP

Dotson - DST

Langford has been our best player from that class. That is PBP.

Langford has been great. This year Merling has been right there with him. So far, they are both putting up stats seldom seen for a 3-4 DL. They are doing this while playing in a rotation, and not getting as many plays as others.

I believe they both have PBP.
