Espn reports the Bucs picked up Tim Rattay from the Skins for an "undisclosed draft pick." So much for a quiet trade deadline!

Sour deal for both the 9ers and Tim. 49ers will get a conditional 2006 pick, but it will depend on his performace, Tim Rattay will become UFA if he plays 50% of season or something, but the Bucs won't play him with Simms still healthy, so the 49ers get low pick, Tim Rattay can't reach the clause in his contract.

They up just a conditional round pick I believe and what # pick would be will be determined on the amount of snaps he takes this season, and according to a Tampa fan it could very turn out to be a 7th round pick. Definitely a great move for Tampa Bay in my opinon.
