It seems obvious on the surface to root for Patriots to win but if the Ravens keep winning, they take the division over the Steelers, bumping the Steelers to the wildcard where we would be ahead of them

Plus with the Pats winning their next 2, perhaps they rest their starters final week against us?

Thoughts...?

win win scenario in my opinion. Just want a good game.

actually a ravens win will put the pressure on the pats to win against denver since they wouldn't want to lose two in a row. So i go with ravens.

I hear you but doesn't a ravens win hurt us? As they own the tiebreaker over us.

definitely patriots. we aint winning the division. ravens lose we'll be 1 game ahead of them so losing a tiebreaker to them wont matter for the moment.

Patriots if you care about making the wildcard. It would guarentee us a spot at 10-6

a tie.

We basically have to root for either of the following situations:

1. Baltimore finishes with fewer wins than Miami.
2. Baltimore wins the AFC North.

So really, we're kind of screwed either way.

Just gotta win our games, baby.

I'm rooting for the Ravens front 7 to harass Brady SO much tonight, that he has a nervous breakdown in the middle of the game and decides to quit football!

I outlined it in another thread. Ravens lose tonight we are guaranteed a spot at 10-6 over Pittsburgh and Baltimore. They play each other and if Pittsburgh loses they lose the tiebreaker to us at 10-6. If Baltimore loses that game they go 9-7. So go Patriots

Patriots.

Our route is simple, we get at 10-6 with

1 Raven Loss (tonight)
2 Denver Losses (vs NE, KC, or Oak)

We get in at 11-5, with 1 Denver loss.

Pats. Pile up the losses for the Ravens and Broncos. It does two things for the Dolphins:

1. Adds to the loss total for wildcard contenders
2. Might make the week 17 game meaningless for the Pats.

Pittsburgh has the easier schedule. They are likely to win the division so we need the Ravens to lose.

Ravens schedule: @NE, Phil, @Pitt, @Cincy
Steelers schedule: @Cincy, Balt, Clev
Broncos schedule: NE, @KC, Oak

Ravens, have not given up on the AFC East Title just yet.
