Ray Ray in the 3rd

Ray Rice seems to be projected as a 3rd rounder. I can`t see us passing this guy up. I know we have Ronnie, Ricky, and Lorenzo...but thats not gonna cut it...you know injuries will occur at some point. Rice would be a nice safety net. I watched him play quite a bit and he would be a nice addition. Not afraid of contact and will run over a linebacker. A BP type of player. Hopefully he`ll be a player to watch at the #3.........

Nope.
As much as I would LOVE Ray Rice, and I DO think he is one heck of a runningback, we simply have too many other areas to fill. RB is one of the lone bright spots on the entire roster.

Rice would be a luxery, something we cant afford at this juncture IMO

Most mocks I have seen have him going between the 50th and 60th pick (2nd round). I still would rather take a QB like Flacco or Henne in the 2nd.....we have lots of RB's.

Absolutely not! I agree that while he is a pretty good back we already have RB and Sticky so we cannot draft a rb on the first day.

Why Henne? Will he really have that great of an impact on our team this year? How much of an upside does he have? I think our team needs a player who could start now. We could possibly get a CB,LB,OL, or DL that could come in and start for our team.

Are you going to bank on Ronnie being healthy all season? or even Ricky? Too many black marks on the RB corp....all I`m sayin is..if he`s available in the 3rd..to take a shot...if not, go for something else.

I like Ray Rice but we have so many holes on our team that we have to bank on RB and Sticky on the first day. You have to think that so many other players would be available at that pick.

At this point we are in talent acquisition mode. If they see him as the best player available they will take him. Personally I like him a lot, much better than Booker. For me it would depend on who else was available but he's certainly somebody I'd consider from the 3rd on.

J.Nelson(WR), B.Cottam(TE), R.Schuening(OG), B.Bell(ILB), J.Goff(ILB), S.Crable(OLB), D.Lowery(CB), J.Barrett(SS), and that's only naming a few that will still be around with our 3rd. It just so happens we could use all of them !!!!!!
