I read that the fins want to draft a rb in the second round and use our first for braylon or one of the qb's and I have no problem with drafting a qb or wr but the fact is any rb in the second round won't do much for us this year unless marion barber is still around but all the other guys i'm not sold on we would be better off drafting a guy in the 5th or 7th round someone like clarett or lumsden but I would still prefer one of the big three if possible #2 but it doesn't look like saban wants to pick a back that high so unless we trade for henry the rb position looks weak next year so i'm for taking a chance on clarett.

Lots of nice RB's in this draft through round 2, perhaps into the 3rd but beyond that its doubtful.

I don't know much about the RBs beyond Benson, Brown, Caddy and Arrington (small shifty speedy fella).

Anyone wanna fill me in?

agreed, maybe gore or morency

if we dont have a rb by the second i say trade our 3rd for travis henry, although i think with gordan, morris and minor we can make things happen

Marion Barber III might just be available in the 4th. If we draft a reciever or QB in the first, I say we get Barber in the 3rd. He is by far the most underrated player in this draft IMO.

Id go with an offensive player 1st round(Edwards, Smith, or Brown) and with the 2nd rounder a safety for sure...hopefully Shazor is still there cause he would be a big hitting impact player on this team....and then if we dont get a RB in the 1st round, go after one of them in the 3rd...the rb's in this draft are way deeper then the talent of safeties..

the dropoff is talent isn't that severe between the RBs in rounds 1 and 2 than it is for any other position. that's why I see us going with Edwards in the first, and then taking a RB in the second.

I think he's going to be a better pro than C. Williams. I don't think he'll be available in the 4th, but possibly 3rd. Actually I think taking a RB after the 1st rd would be a better idea because the RB position is much deeper than Qb.

There are RBs in the second and ever third round that can start next year. Morency, Gore, Fason, Barber, Shelton, Moats, and others all would be great picks in round 2 or 3.

Shelton's a monster and Fason's ready to play now. Gore, Barber, Arrington ... this draft is loaded at RB!
