He'll go higher than late rounds based on raw ability. The guy was a premier recruit coming out of high school, considered the next Reggie Bush. As a USC alum I remember the hoopla when he chose USC. I think he was from Louisiana and had been expected to sign with LSU or perhaps Florida.

Not completely unlike the Patrick Turner situation, a guy who showed flashes in college but overall was a disappointment. I can tell you he won't be missed on the USC message boards. McKnight made the occasional weaving big play but more often was soft and fumble prone and unreliable.
 
big hype coming out but after watching him i think he fizzled a bit at usc. granted the hype was huge but this guy never launched imo.
