Detroit released RB Mikel Leshoure today, with DT and Thiggy gone do you think he would be a good fit for our offense. I would love to take a flier on him, I thought he flashed pretty well with the Lions. Thoughts?

He's a one cut back that gets north and south in a hurry. A good pass catcher out of the backfield and finishes every play hard. Would round out our RB stables pretty nice.

Doubt we go after any RB.

Looks like

Moreno
Miller
Willams
Darkwa

Are the RB's on the 53.

I think LeShoure is better than Darkwa and maybe D.Williams though. We could still carry 4 RBs just put Darkwa on the PS

17 games played in the last two years and a career 3.7 ypc average...pass.

Lache Seastrunk or Evan Royster from the Redskins are better picks. I'd sign them both to be honest; Seastrunk is a hard runner. Living in the DC area I watch every week, and he's good. Royster has always been good, im SHOCKED to see him cut. I honestly don't care much for Williams or Darkwa.

I guess I'm alone in really liking Williams.

I, too, like Royster. I'd even go w/ BenJarvous Green-Ellis or Jonas Gray (released by the patsies).

Agreed. I think the phins look at Guards, OLB's & possibly TE's.

You do realize Jonas Gray used to play here right?

Seastrunk already got cut?? Shouldn't there be some red flags there, from one of the best RBs in this class to the streets in one TC? Not saying I wouldn't bring him in to see what hes got, just saying, thats a bit unusual.

I'd say Seastrunk is worth a look, I know he was a late pick but seems weird to cut ties so soon

Honestly, I thought both Williams and Darkwa would make it to the practice squad without any difficulty. At least they run hard so there's potential there, but I think Miami goes early for a running back in next years' draft with guys like Gurley, Gordon and maybe Johnson from UMia as potential targets.

I'm not sure the team brings in anyone else at RB, I think its very possible they simply cut Darkwa and go with 3. If they were going to keep a guy like Darkwa, I think its pretty retarded that they converted Marcus Thigpen to WR, a position he had no shot at sticking due to the numbers ahead of him, when he could have been just as effective as Darkwa.
