RB Leshoure was released from DET

Honestly, I thought both Williams and Darkwa would make it to the practice squad without any difficulty. At least they run hard so there's potential there, but I think Miami goes early for a running back in next years' draft with guys like Gurley, Gordon and maybe Johnson from UMia as potential targets.

Darkwa yes, PS for sure. I don't understand why the team is eating up a 53 slot on a RB that won't be active on game day. He won't be KR/PR and highly doubt he gets ST work either. So no reason for him to be active, thus straight to the PS. This one has me puzzled.

Williams for sure would of gotten poached. He showed way to much during play time, even if against 3's and 4's to not be some ones #4 RB. Plus he can field kicks giving him a extra bump.

I like Williams and Darkwa. The are hungry and healthy. I like the approach. RB is set.
We need to get a PK, LB, and OG if anyone that can upgrade us can be had.

We'll I hope we are not in a position to draft Gurley next year.
Because that would mean we have a top 5 pick, which means a bad season this year

RB it not the primary position of concern so quit trying to churn....kicker should be...hate losing with a missed FG with seconds left... succop should be highly sought after now he's free

Seastrunk already got cut?? Shouldn't there be some red flags there, from one of the best RBs in this class to the streets in one TC? Not saying I wouldn't bring him in to see what hes got, just saying, thats a bit unusual.

The red flags on Seastrunk are that he's dumber than a box of hammers. But that's his story from college too, elite athlete otherwise.

Gurley would be amazing.
And it's way too early to guess how high he will get drafted; but I agree he is a top 5 talent (even when running backs don't get picked until the third round anymore)

I 2nd that notion. We are much improved at RB , kudos to Hickey for his findings. Williams was overlooked because of character issues but he is taking advantage of every opportunity to put the past in the trash and make a new, he has always had the talent , just needed someone to believe in him. Moreno is going to be a leader of this offense, he is what we need right now, his intensity and effort will be contagious, we need to give this guy the rock as much as we can. I am a huge Canes fan too and love Lamar Miller but he is no Moreno, Moreno is a pure running back in all aspects of his game, he follows his blocks, attacks the hole and is very reliable in the passing game as we saw last year in Denver and lets not forget the problems we had last season, protecting Ryan and short yardage plays (3rd and 1), Miller faltered in those areas but Moreno excelled . I'm not bashing Miller we need to utilize this kid's speed in a big way and Lazor will, we just need to all realize that Moreno is the RB that ran all over the Pats last year , I'm simply saying he should get the bulk of the carries opening day. GO FINS!

Gurley, Yeldon, or Gordon would all be nice additions at RB. I think Yeldon might be the best fit with this offense.

I'm also a fan of Damien Williams. He plays with the kind of passion and fire that is contagious. He seems to be decisive, shifty and powerful all at the same time. I thought Darkwa would end up on the practice squad but have no problem with him making the 53. Hickey found some excellent young talent all through the roster. Ireland found acorns. Hickey finds oak trees! Everytime I'm in a bad mood I think about Ireland being gone and it really cheers me up!!
