Maybe Ricky is out which would be the dumbest move ever!
 
i wanted mccauley but Kiper just said Booker is a good RB who had a bad o-line and made his own running space. Nice. Someone compared him to Westbrook?
 
With Free, Beekman, and McCauley all on the board at this point, I was very upset with this pick.
 
what about that guard alleman from akron? i would have liked to see two lineman in the first day, but i still like our picks
 
A surprise, but good pick nonetheless. He's like Leon Washington, the NY Jet that ran circles around the Dolphins near the end of last season.
 
Great, a waste of a pick to give us an excuse to trade away Ricky. Brilliant plan right there Mueller.
 
Hell, this is the type of pick you get when you might have to rely on a flake like Ricky Williams.
 
I was a senior in high school the same year Lorenzo was. My school always got issues of American High School Sporting News and I read about him all the time. One article once stated that he was going to be the next great running back in the NFL and compared him to Marshall Faulk (Faulk just coming off of his MVP season.) I remember that on signing day he was on the front page of ESPN.com and was conisdered the prize of that year's recruiting class. Unfortunately, Florida State had major problems these past few years and Lorenzo never got to live up to his potential. However, no one can doubt his natural god given talent and he still has major upside. I love this pick.

Not because of the guy's ability, but because of who was still on the board.

Alleman or McCauley would've been far better choices.
 
this is a great pick for an offense seriously in need of play makers...this booker picks looks a lot like michael turner to ladanian tomlinson in san diego...
