With Pittman likely facing jail time and no true back up at the RB position the Bucs could soon be desperate for a RB

For the Fins with RW being used as an every down back, they have a surplus of RB's.

I would shop either Edwards or Minor and see what TB will offer.

We dont want to get rid of Minor, and they wont give anything for Edwards, Henry or any other scrubs.

I say we keep what we have...

There's not going to be a significant offer worth losing Edwards or Minor...

We gave Edwards a chance when no one else did, why is there this sentiment I have been seeing that we "owe" it to him to give him a chance to be a starter???

Yeah but this whole subject has been tread and even re-tread in one or two other threads.

For me, any break from talking about Griese is welcome:)

More news on TB's running back situation:

ESPN is reporting that Arizona is trying to deal Thomas Jones to the Bucs

The Bucs still have Mike Alstott, & Travis Stephens, a guy they like, could be the change of pace back. I don't think they're really in any trouble. There's also the possibility that Gruden could call Ricky Watters again, or maybe try Jamal Anderson.

I always thought their back up RB was better then Pittman over there in Tampa Bay anyway.
