RB's improvement.

hav eyou guys noticed the difference btw RB this year as oppose to last year and even a bit earlier in the season? mainly before the bye week?

Hes vision and mainly PATIENCE has improved and all due to the amount of playing time and experience. he did it a couple times last week before he left teh game. He will run the way the play is designed but when he sees theres no hole he stops for a split second and waits till the O line and the Defense shift into a different position due to him stopping and not going wiht the flow and that gives him a hole to run through and gain yards. last year and earlier on he woulda gone wiht where the play was suppose to go, he wouldnt counter anything. This is all b/c of playing time. waht RW was preventing RB from learning on the field.

I agree. Against Detroit, I saw a guy who has the potential for LT like production. If I recall correctly LT's first few seasons showed flashes but he was nowhere near the back he is now.

only problme, we'll never have a line like SD has.

If you look at his log, his first 2 years, he had sooo many 20+ carry games and yet averages less then 4 yards a carry. he has a lot of the same Numbers RB does. A LOT OF EM. it wans't till a few years later he broke out. looks like RB is on the same route as LD but myabe jsut a bit MORE POWERFUL.

I've supported Brown ever since we drafted him.

I do see what you are saying though. Although sometimes he is almost too patient. I noticed when Morris went into the game he just would slam into the hole, now it could of been maybe the D was a bit tired..who knows..but it seemed to work well for him atleast.

yea exactly. was it b/c Morris got the 55 yard run or b/c the Defense screwed up? who konws, we'll never konw but RB doenst break runs like that. usually 18 yard runs and some 20's here n there last year n a few against the Bears this year. as far as near the end last year, RW had a lot of long runs when he piled up almost 320 yares in 2 games to end the year last year. once again, was taht RW or the line/defense screwing up?

but i wasnt saying he is TOO patient. i am saying he is becomign MORE patient now then before.

i did watch ronnie on thanksgiving and i must say that i have criticized his *****footing hitting the holes....but he did some nice things on turkey day and i liked it alot...i liked how he was reading the holes and exploding through
