let me start off by saying i loved the first call today...going down feild to ginn was unexpected and paid off.

The running game was hurting again today, while penny actually went to a wide out a few more times and the wide out actually made a bunch of nice plays. All that being said this is how i feel the state of the offense is now...

I can see that penny has some probs throwing real long which would help take advantage of ginns speed, however i still love the accuracy - he puts up GREAT stats almost every game and is so smart he is made our offense one of the fewest to make mistakes in the league. So lets give the henne talk a rest at least for another week or two? even Dan and the other analysts were saying it today. I also love Penny's atitude and knowledge of his teamates when he interviews. Ginn still needs to come into his own as far as running str8 up and down and beating people with pure speed, and him and penny still need to develope a relationship, however with our corps of tight ends, our good pocket protection, and some key contributers out of the backfield our passing game is shaping up to be a serious threat.

As for the run i feel like we have slowed down a bit, i think it is mostly a reaction to the wildcat and to ronnies early season triumphs, however as we've seen it does help open up the pass.

overall i feel like once we get things down to more of a science that utilizes multiple weapons and tools we'll be very very lethal on offense. Know when to get ricky in for the down hill running, know exactly when to throw the wildcat at teams, know when to throw cobbs in, etc. It's going to take more time but this is the first time in a longggg time our offense is really showing confidence and strength. I'm Loving it!
