I think it would be hard to argue at this point that the offensive line needs nearly a complete rebuild. Having a quality offensive line helps not only the offence but the defence as it tends to help keep them off of the field. Although it's early to gage, I'd say that ideally we have at most 2 starting O-linemen from our current roster for next season and it's possible that number is zero.

How would you guys/gals handle rebuilding the line and what is your timeframe for doing so?

I'd like to have it rebuilt within the next two seasons to be at least upper half of the league.

It may initially, be a bit harder to sign F/A Olinemen because of the state and perception of the team at the moment. I can see some players who know or played for Coach Flores or Coach Googs signing, with Miami. But I'm not expecting much. So building through the draft looks like the main source of obtaining talent.

Bring Joshua Garnett in at RG. Hopefully we can get the 1st rounder out of him. Draft the center out of Wisconsin.

Cross your fingers at RT and hope one falls to the 3rd round...or spend money to get a RT for the same price as the one you let go to Denver.

I would say that the best starting line at this point is Davenport-Dieter-Kilgore-Boehm-Davis. Kilgore, Boehm, and Davis are legitimate starters. Boehm is a better center than guard, but this is the best lineup in my opinion. Boehm should replace Kilgore next year. I would bet that Dieter will be fine by next year if not later this year. Draft a left tackle next year, bring in some competition at guard and right tackle next year, and you might have an average line by next season.

Dolphins offensive line will be fine.

We are going to run quite a bit and challenge with tight ends.

Plus it’s all about pocket awareness.

I'm pretty sure the staff would be happy if after this season they feel like they found two very solid starters. I'm thinking we'll get one more in free agency, not a big time name but a solid starter and then we'll draft two. That'd be a good start imo.

I was thinking La'el Collins might be a good short term solution.

It would be great if Dieter and Boehm were considered good enough to build around, but that remains to be seen.

Might be a complete, 5 person rebuild.

If that is the case, it was going to be a 4 person rebuild had we not traded Laremy.

You ride this out. If anything surprises you stick with it. Otherwise after qb this is primary for an overhaul. I feel like it will come mostly in free agency. They’ve got some guys who could project as 5th thru 7th types active types

I’d like to get upgraded skill talent in the draft after we get the qb obviously

Then again, trading Laremy might give us 3 pieces total. I'd make that trade 9 days out of 10.

I also think we should remake it with FAs next offseason. Need to have some non-rookie OL out there for whoever our new qb ends up being
