Has anyone ever seen any info anywhere regarding Reagan Mauia as a predraft prospect? I have looked everywhere and found nothing.

he was not invited to the combine meaning he was not considered a "top" prospect....It also doesn't help that he was a fullback in a very pass heavy offense....

I doubt he will make the team, though I want him to, since he's the juggernaut and all.

Actually he has a good chance to make the team. We cut a lot of players, and lost a bunch to free agency. There are holes everywhere....

Cory Schlesinger is our fullback and we don't need another nose tackle. I highly doubt he's making the team.

He's no longer a nose tackle...270 is way to light for that. Don't forget what happened to Fred Beasley last year. BUT it's ery possible Mauia makes the team if we keep one less TE and he proves he can contribute on ST's.

Or i can even put it like this. Mueller spent months scraping together draft picks...why would he get rid of them now?

He will.

Dolphins | Mauia being groomed for the future

Keven Lerner, of the Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins rookie FB Reagan Mauia will be groomed to be the team's long-term option at the fullback position. He'll serve as a backup during 2007.

I rather have Reagan Mauia as our Starting FB, but Cory is going to start and he might retire soon. Maybe after this season or the next one.

because nobody expected him to be drafted. He started like 4 games at FB and played d line the previuos year. has done nothing really special but may be intriguing because of his size and ability to move a little at his size. He is somewhat intriguing but if we did not draft him he probably would have not got drafted.

I've seen a couple of profiles of Mauia around, but I cant find one right now off the top of my head. Basically, they all kind of said he's a good pass blocker than has alot of power as a run blocker but isnt really refined.

No sir, most teams that run the same offense as Miami does carry 2 fullbacks. Given that Miami drafted Mauia as a project, rather than a finished product, and signed a what, 35 year old to be the starter, it's obvious there are long term plans.

Yea go to youtube and type in is name and watch his video of him going thru a wall! it is soo cool.

Look at it this way; he has a way better chance of making the roster or PS than Mkistro Bruce or Abe Wright or Kelvin Smith.

I would guess PS unless like what was stated previously he proves to be a ST's maniac like AGB.

Why would he have a better shot of making the team than kelvin smith?
