Another strength of this draft is the amount of talent at the Wide Receiver position. Hands down Michael Crabtree is the best in the draft class. He might not have the best speed but he runs solid routes, catches everything, and makes the big play. I put him as equal to Calvin Johnson in 2006. Crabtree without question will fall no later than Seattle at #4.
Jeremy Maclin does not have the size that Crabtree does but he is a solid play-maker who will not last out of the Top 10 picks. Maclin can also provide a boost as a Kick/Punt returner which makes him ever more valuable.
Darrius Heyward-Bey is still a little raw as he didn't start his football career until his Senior year at McDonough High School here in Baltimore, Maryland. the guy is quicker than a hickup and has big play ability.
My favotie player for our team is without question Hakeem Nicks. He doesn't have blazing speed but the guy can get open and his hands are as good as Crabtree's. If he is there at #25 he has to consider great considertaion.
Percy Harvin reminds me a lot of Ted Ginn Jr. They are dangerous return men who are a little under-sized. I think Ginn Jr. in the long run will be a better pro but Harvin runs better routes as a rookie without questions. Harvin carrier the play-maker tag for sure and would be brilliant in Wild-Cat formations.
Brandon Gibson and Brian Robiskie run the best routes int ehd raft. Robiskie has the advantage of having his dad Terry being an NFL receiver coach for over a decade. Both of these guys are legit targets in Round 3.
Kenny Britt is a monster when it comes to size but his inconsistency scares me. He is built in the Terrell Owens but doesn't have the same speed. Britt seems to be lazy and take plays off when the ball isn't coming his way.
Juaquin Iglesias is a guy really worth watching. I watched a lot of Oklahoma football and this is the guy who stands out of the Offensive side of the ball. Iglesias will go somewhere in Round 2 and I think he could be this years' DeSean Jackson.
Derrick Williams is a great return man and a dangerous slot receiver. After a solid Senior Bowl his stock has been on the rise.
Small school prospect Ramses Barden is a guy I know we are high on. Why wouldn't we be? he is every bit of 6"7 and his hands are phenomenal. In Round 3 this guy is a steal and a half.
There is a good level of 3-4 Round talent that includes Austin Collie, Louis Murphy, Mohamed Massaqui, Jarrett Dillard, and Marko Mitchell who all bear watching.
Brandon Tate was having an marvelous season before his injury. If not for that injury I think Tate is a Round 2 pick. Tate now becomes a 5th Rounder at best which is why I think we should take a long..hard.. look. I think we should look to move John beck for a 6th Rounder and use that pick to land Tate. Some kid's are just players and thats what I love about Tate.
Wide Receiver is a position we defiantly need to take a look at. I hear that we have some serious interest in TJ Houshmandzadeh so if we landed him I do not think we would make a play at all. Hakeem Nicks and Darrius Heyward-Bet defiantly have to be on our board for pick#25. If Nicks is there it would be awfully hard to pass up on him.
If we don't land anyone in free agency or in the first two rounds of the draft than Brian Robiskie or Brandon Gibson become awfully interesting in Round 3.
In 2010 I expect Arrelius Benn out of Illinois and Dez Bryant out of Oklahoma State to be studs and Top 10 picks.
