In a pick up move it is pretty much Couch or Davey and if McPherson gets cut on Saturday you could throw him in the mix.

In trades ther are only a few that could work.

Seeing how we could have had Volek as a FA instead of Feeley for a 2nd this would really burn, (and I do not see Saban doing a trade for picks)

Booker, Sage(or Feeley),and a 3rd for Volek or a straight up 2nd.
Booker,Chester,and a 4th for Volek
Chester and a 3 for Kitna
Rivers is not realistic
 
Brad Johnson was a possibility and should have got him!

Garrard from Jax is prob. worth a mid round pick!
 
Our QB situation will not be solved this season. You're wanting to trade a DT, when we had one go down tonight. You're wanting to trade Booker, when Boston cannot be counted on.
 
Only for a deal that will help this team now and the future! I realize it will not happen!

Volek to Bennet, over and over again. I can imagine Volek to Chambers. That would scare me.
 
we'ld be better off getting offensive linemen and waiting till next year's draft for a qb

Your title is very misleading because NONE of those trade are anywhere near realistic (or very smart IMO). Stop trading picks for other people's recycled QB's! The others are on waivers for a reason and it's not because their former teams like the fins and want to help us out!
 
no more back-ups for picks.
Hell I would rather see them draft 3 QB-s next year and have a shootout Tryout...LOL (jk) please no are you crazy responses...LOL

But I do want this solved through the draft not 2nd-3rd stingers again This has been going on Since JJ was here...9 !!!!!!!!!! years.
 
just pick up davey. he is basically free. scrw a trade, unless it's for rivers. but above all, cut the losses and let the anti-marino go (aj)..he is flat out terrible.
