Trade deadline is October 31st .
Who would you spend a 1st or 2 nd round pick to acquire?

nope......last thing we need is yet another big contract and one less high pick......we can’t go on every year with drafting only 4 players and none in the first day plus our cap is already bad enough for next year.

This ^...we need some good, cheap-rookie-contract, contributors to replace some of the second-contract guys we can't afford.

IMO we should be looking to offload contracts if we make any moves. Personally speaking, I’d like to move Wilkins before he walks for nothing at the end of the year. Not very realistic as we have no IDL depth and can’t afford to give up a starter. But we should be shopping a few of our guys even if it only yields mid-late round picks.

The team needs to try to find OL and DL in the next few Drafts.

They will need to replace Armstead (although Lamm might be that guy) and they may let Wilkins walk after possibly tagging him next Spring.
Lamm is old and has been done nothing special in his career, he'll need to be replaced. He's been awesome this year, no doubt.

we'd likely get a mid round comp pick for Wilkins if he signs somewhere else anyways. We need him this year.

We'd get a 3rd probably eh?
Given his play this year I wouldn’t guarantee a 3rd. Particularly if we spend any money, as unlikely as that is, in FA.

That pick would be in 2025, so we’d get literally nothing from him walking in the 2024 season. As I said, it is not realistic but I’d be shopping a few guys just to see who bites and what they offer.
