Let's face it folks. You have to admit that the Dolphins got lucky vs. Tennessee last weekend.
So, really, this is an 0-4 football team.
They keep playing like this and they are locks to lose at NE and the Jets.
That makes them 1-5 (really 0-6).
Can they beat Green Bay at home? Maybe.
And after that?
I don't see them beating a single team on the schedule. Not even at Detroit on Thanksgiving.
We all thought the 4-12 season was rock bottom.........guess again.
If Saban can turn this team around, then I will truly consider him one of the top coaches in the NFL.
If not....
He won't survive.

1-3 IS reality.

Also barelly beating the Titans and then losing to the Texans is reality. What our record is and how we have been playing are 2 different things, I watch and see a team that most colleges could beat.

Then what you see is NOT reality.

I clearly saw us win one game this year.

No, it's not....if we were playing like an 0-4 team, we'd be 0-4....but, we're playing like a 1-3 team, thus, our record is 1-3.

Still not good but, it's not 0-4.

Just seems kinda stupid to try and make it look worse when it already looks plenty bad enough.

Not trying to make it look worse than what it is, kerry Collins beat the Titans, not the Dolphins.

I'm not going to argue with you. Yes, they won a game.
But, the game was sorta handed to them.
Now, to be fair, the Dolphins have had games handed to them in the past and they have refused to take them on occasion. So, a run of luck was nice for a change. Don't get me wrong: I'm happy they won even though it wasn't the dominating win we'd thought it would be (it left me feeling queasy, actually).

But, in terms of quantifying the overall quality of this team...given that Dallas WENT to Tennessee yesterday and destroyed them where the Dolphins struggled at home....they are playing LIKE an 0-4 football team and if the Titans weren't as bad as they are, chance are the Dolphins WOULD be an 0-4 team this morning.

Ack...forget I even brought it up. I'm just making myself nauseous.

Well, then AJ Feeley, not the Dolphins, beat the patriots two years ago.

You can point to every single game ever played and say if this guy makes the play here or there the whole game is different., The reality is, that's football, those things happen ALL the time. Don't sit there and think that there isn't good luck and bad luck in every single win or loss.

That's not reality.

Dont believe in "luck". I believe in skill.
