Were any of you under the impression this was a playoff team or anything even close?
We have the worst receiving corp I have ever seen.
The O-line has some nice pieces and makings of potentially a nice unit one day, but it is far from a finished product or unit playing at a high level yet, the right side has a rookie playing RT for the first time in his career, against a beast of DE in Johnson tonight, he was just outmatched.
The defense gets no pressure on the QB without Cam Wake as we were tonight, and without Dansby and Burnett our linebacker corp is embarrassing.
This was a bad football team last year, and it is still going to be a bad football team this year.
It is fair to criticize Ireland that after this long and the emphasis this organization placed on drafting O-lineman, (2 first round picks and a high 2nd rounder) that this unit is still this bad.
The one bright spot for me is that Ryan Tannehill looks like the future at QB, we just need to find players in the draft that can help him.
This is not going to get fixed overnight, this will take a couple of years, and hopefully this organization picks the right talent.
