Per Chris Wesseling of NFL.com.... most likely trade candidates....

6. Dion Jordan, DE/LB, Dolphins: Jordan has been connected to Graham in trade talks that reportedly went nowhere between the Eagles and Dolphins. Whether it's true or not, there is persistent speculation in league circles that Jordan is available for the right price because new general manager Dennis Hickey doesn't value him nearly as high as former boss Jeff Ireland did. It doesn't help that Jordan remains without an obvious position in the Dolphins' 4-3 defense.

Shameful that NFL.com is still running with an idea that was a complete fabrication by Jason La Canfora. There was no truth to it, like there was no truth to La Canfora's story months ago that Miami was also working on trading Wallace and Wake.

If you remember, initially La Canfora had said that Jordan was going to be traded because the Dolphins wanted to trade up to draft a LEFT tackle. Then Miami signed Albert, and the LEFT tackle part sort of slipped away from his lie. Then it became because he wasn't a a Hickey pick and not a good fit. He even retweeted someone who said that by the time the draft comes, Jordan will be traded and all Dolphins fans would owe Jason an apology. Now the draft came and went, now it is "oh, this could be a Summer trade". lol. Get out of here with this garbage.

While La Canfora was saying Jordan, Wallace and Wake would be traded before the draft, other writers and reporters were giggling at how ridiculous his reporting was. The team even denied his reporting and no other reporter every said what he did. Now we know he made the whole thing up and there was zero truth to it. La Canfora quietly slithered away and no repercussions from CBS for his poor reporting. Shamefull this guy keeps getting away with things like this. In 2012 after drafting Tannehill, he said Miami would be drafting another first round QB in 2013. He picked Miami to lose every game last season, then made up these trade rumors that are still being talked about.
 
Theres zero chance at this point. The only trade this team might make is with Matt moore and that is highly unlikely
 
Here's what I don't get on Jordan. He was not really just an Ireland pick. Posted and confirmed by direct quotes many a time, Ireland had dinner with Ross, Philbin. and coaches before the draft, and they all wanted Jordan more than anyone in the draft. Ireland got him, not paying much, and last year coaches did not use him. I give them the benefit of the doubt until this year, as there were injury problems.

However IF Hickey does not like him, where is his connection with Philbin and Coyle who wanted him? IF they cannot firure out how to use him, the blame is on them, and not Ireland.
 
Dion Jordan will NOT be traded. His salary cap hit is over $10m. And he doesn't make a lot of money in salary over the next 4 years. He's not going anywhere. We already paid him a lot of money upfront. When are these media guys going to figure out that the salary cap dictates whether a guy can be traded.

Not sold on shelly huh. I'm completely sold on Billy Turner. Beast at LG. Shelly has proven to be a great run blocker. I think we should hold on to everyone we have trading any asset for Mathis isn't worth it to me
 
Kevin Nogle of the Phinsiders had a column today about Jordan potentially being sent to the Eagles, as he is not a good fit in the Phin's 4-3. I would ask the Eagles for their 2015 first round pick + a quality starter. Don't the Eagles have a good DE?...can't think of his name....hate when that happens.
 
Wow, Jordan will be fine and will develop into a every down end just like wake. He will be wake 2.0 but better. Mark my words..

He would definitely make the offensive line better, but he doesn't really make that much sense to acquire. He has a $6.2 million cap hit(and he wants more money), would probably take at least a 3rd round pick to get and is not a long term solution as he is 32 years old. You know what is crazy about that last part? Mathis is the oldest projected starting guard in the NFL. It makes sense in terms of long term to go with Shelley Smith and Bootsrap Bill as the offensive guards.

Phinsiders wrote that based on the article in the original post. Jordan is not being traded, nor was it ever discussed.
