Reason Why Wallace Picked on Will Allen

I was reading these comments on football outsiders which make perfect sense why Will Allen was thrown at so much.

I wonder how long it's going to take the Dolphins to figure out that Seneca Wallace isn't reading anything to his left. He's not picking on Will Allen, announcer guys. Will's just in the way of Seneca's one-and-one-half reads.

Ya, never thought about it, but he didn't look left a lot. Although, he almost hit the big one at the end of the game. Another 2 yards and we may all be in a bad mood!
 
hmmmmm, it couldnt have been that korin robinson
was eating him for lunch ALL GAME!!

thats fine. thats ok if seneca was only throwing left.

but the guy he was throwing to was open on just about
every play because will allen COULDNT HANDLE HIM!!

come on. you dont make the nfl only being able to throw
to one side of the field.

theres excuses......and then theres EXCUSES!!

and this one takes the cake. he kept going to his right
because the right was open all the time!

people just need to lay off the will allen kool aid and realize
that we need a SERIOUS UPGRADE to our DB's.

were "stopping the run" right now because even back up qb's
can throw for huge yds on us. path of LEAST resistance.

but when teams are finding it hard to throw, they generaly dont
have much problem running on us if thats what it takes.

we have ONE pass rusher at this point and a WEEK secondary.

the club has been feasting on oponents mistakes and dropped balls
other wise we are looking like last years club.

wins are GOOD, no matter how they come as long as the team knows
why they are winning [and why there losing].

but if this team doesnt find quality wr's and db's soon, this tuna dance party
is going to be over long before is is supposd to.
 
sporano said in his presser that they did some different thing on their option routes ,so i'm assuming miami wasn't prepared for. i agree seattle's guys looked wide open all day.

Why does your post look like that? Is it a poem?
 
He was open, thats why, we got lucky when he dropped one in the endzone.

Open Receiver = ball mostly coming his way.

Pretty basic football, throw to the open receiver.

did you watch the game? if it wasnt for at least 4 brutal drops, including Robinson for a TD, this game is a loss. Wallace looked pretty good and pretty composed most of the game to me. pretty good for a guy playing with a bad groin whos legs are his biggest weapons.
