FA:
Karlos Dansby
Malcolm Floyd (fulfills what Patrick Turner is suposed to be. big, tall possession guy)
Casey Hampton (fulfills NT spot, with Soliai in rotation)

Draft:
Dez Bryant (finally get that #1 receiver, Parcells will have him and his agent ready for TC)
Eric Nordwood (nice solid OLB prospect to replace Porter)
or
Sean Witherspoon (trade up and get this guy! He's the speed we need with the LBers)

And to all those people thinking we're getting 5th and 6th rounders for guys like Camarillo and Donald Thomas, not going to happen...

2010 Depth Chart
QB: Henne/Thigpen/White
RB:Brown/Williams-Hilliard(share the backup load)/Cobbs
FB: Polite
WR Dez Bryant, Malcolm Floyd, Bess, Hartline, Camarillo,(Floyd, Hartlines and Camarillo should be in competition for WR spots 2,4,and 5, with the slot going to Bess) Ginn (paycut)
TE: Fasano. Graham (UM), Haynos (underrated blocker)
LT: Jake Long
LG: Smiley, Garner (could be a nice competition bw Garner Smiley and THomas)
C: Grove, Berger
RG: Thomas (hopefully he takes the next step)
RT: Carey

DE:Randy Starks/Philip Merling/Lionel Dotson
NT: Casey Hampton/Paul Solia/
DE: Kendall Langford/Ikaika Alama-Francis
OLB:Eric Norwood/Jason Taylor (slow transition to the rookie), Quentin Moses
ILB:Karlos Dansby
ILB:Channing Crowder, Torbor
OLB: Cameron Wake
CB: Vontae Davis, Sean Smith/Will Allen (TC competition to start, Nate Jones, Jason Allen
SS: Gibril Wilson (hopfully by going back to his natural position, he'll excell)
FS: Chris Clemons (I see him getting burnt a lot to start the year but hopefully he'll turn it around midseason)

KR/PR: Ted Ginn

I definitely left guys out only bc I feel that they will be replaced. I feel that Porter, Ayodele and Y Bell are all gone because of lack of abilities or cost too much in the case of Bell.
With this offseason, we now have core players as well as skill players to compete!

ya i hear u. just not sure who'd get cut.. ginn perhaps? camarillo.. who just got an extension.. bess is safe, hartline is safe

Casey Hampton was rated the 54th DT and Ferguson was rated 25th last year.

Why would the Dolphins spend a bunch of money on a guy with back problems who may be closer to retirement than playing for a new team.

I would love Dansby as well but c'mon, really; do actually think the Dolphins are going to involve themselves in that bidding war for a nearly 30 year old LB????? Wasn't this supposed to be realistic?

Malcolm Floyd is a RFA and will be tendered at least a 2nd rounder and may be transition tagged or get 1st round tender. He is worth the 2mil.

Again, I like Dez Bryant but you said this was supposed to be reasonable. It's a stretch to say Parcell's would drat a WR 1st round and now we have to also think he is going as high as the 12th pick, and, for a guy who has been out of football with a suspension. Doesn't really fit this FO.

Again, I love weatherspoon, but will a Parcell's front office draft a ILB that short. Everybody knows Bill wants his LB's a little taller than most.
6,2" to 6'6"

Maybe if he slides, but he would never trade up for a LB who doesn't fit his mold in the first place.

I'd rather have Weatherspoon but I think Parcell's would draft Washington who is 6'3" and also speedy.

Malcolm Floyd (fulfills what Patrick Turner is suposed to be. big, tall possession guy)

Why not let Turner develope into this afterall M.Floyd got the chance to!

I don't understand why everyone writes off rookies so quickly! M.Floyd is listed as 4 years of service but actually it's 6 years because his first two years we're on the practice squad which doesn't count towards accumulated time of service. Then it took him 3 years before he even really did anything...27recp 465yds 4tds, then this past year he had...45recp 776yds 1td, wow sign me up,lol.

None, I repeat none of our receivers have been in the league as long as Floyd yet we're suppose to give up on them already. If Floyd started out with our team he would have been ripped to shreds already and ask to have been replaced by the "fans".

I say no to Floyd when we may have a better player developing right under our noses and more then likely not any worse.

bryant runs in the upper 4.5's for his 40 times. He is not fast enough to be an effective number 1 receiver

And furthermore, how do you expect Ginn to take a paycut when he's only going to make a couple million next year - much less than a lot of players on this team.

Dez Bryant also does not give us an instant #1. For all we know, he's going to need 2-3 years to be that go to guy.

I'd rather just get an above average receiver through FA that can produce consistent numbers for us and draft LB's and a DT.

This can't be further from the truth . . . look at Anquan Boldin, dude ran a 4.7 at the combine I believe.

Even if u don't have the speed, if u have great ability after the catch, great route running ability, great hands and seperation . . . u can be a #1 WR.

I don't want to draft a WR, but if we drafted Bryant, I think dude can eventually be a #1.

I mean cutting Ginn just doesn't make sense, I don't know why people keep wanting to do this. U take Ginn out the equation, and u have nobody to replace him. Gotta throw a veteran opposite of him to take the pressure off.

haha people are so uptight on this site.. lets all take a deep breath and relax...

first off, as of right now, malcolm floyd has not been tendered so lets not assume. chargers first order of business will be extending the contract of vincent jackson

to say dez bryant, wont be a #1 is a crazy statement. no way am i saying he will be, but he definitely is a stud and by far the best WR in this years draft.

what has ginn really shown in 3 years to show he should be retained... Nobdoy to replace Ginn? what exactly is it that Ginn brings to the table?...its the same crap with this guy. the fins are trying to become a physically imposing team. he is the exact opposite of that philosophy. Hartline is showing to be a much more effective threat that Ginn but obviously will take some time to develop. How many more crucial drops does Ginn have to account for to open your eyes. Hes not a #1, he's not a #2, hes too long strided to play in the slot.

This isn't realistic.

Not at all.

Step away from Madden and look at what we drafted the last two years.

why would we want to trade a 6th rounder for D. Thomas. I know he has had injury problems, but when healthy he is potentially one of the best young gaurds in football!

Why contemplate Floyd. Look at Austin, Romo and Ratliff for Cowboys. BP always had raw talent on practice squad, waiting until they are ready to be productive on next level. Forget these high paid FA.......trust in BP.

why do people always bring up speed? Ted Ginn is one of the fastest guys in the league but hes a terrible WR. Speed is overrated.

What are you smoking, you have Gibril Wilson over Y. Bell. Did you watch any games this year Wilson can't cover he is way slower than Y. Bell. Get of the pipe, Wilson needs to go back to those dysfunctional Raiders. Learn something about football before you post this crap!!
