There are always excuses for the way the team plays. There are always reasons that are not the players and coaches fault. The truth is we have an inept DC and an overrated HC. The defensive scheme is bad and the way Burke uses it is ludicrous. Gase is not the offensive mind he is portrayed as being. His play calling is terrible.

So, who to blame this week? Because there are multiple candidates, you know.

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Detroit Lions 32-21 on Sunday and one supposes you can pin this one on the run defense because those 248 rushing yards the Lions racked up were their most running the football since 1997, when Barry Sanders was in the middle of his 2,000-yard season.

playcalling on both sides of the ball was garbage today. gase with the ultra-conservative slow start and burke sitting back in those soft zones. zero agression on offense or defense. coaching scared.

it could be worse on Thursday night. It could get very ugly real quick. We're back to be the same old dolphins now.

God, prime time games. I have been trying to not think about it.

Burke is a pos. If your scheme is so complicated that your leaving guys wide efing open on 1st and 25 and second and 18 then consider a different line of work. Your not smarter than everyone else like you think you are. It's like trying to teach chemistry to 2nd graders. It just isn't going to fking happen.

It would have been nice to have William Hayes, Josh Sitton, Kilgore etc. but we're decimated by injuries. Those were our lunch pail, tough guys that were going to keep us in games like this but there's no luck. Now Wilson, who's a star in our offense is hurt and in my heart I already know bad news is coming. With everyone healthy it would have been a struggle to be average, especially with Tannehill first playing like crap then getting hurt again. At this point, what can anyone say, this defense can't stop a Big 10 College team!!!!!

We knew there were problems with the Defense, specifically we needed to play ahead on the scoreboard. We have not gotten off to good starts, that's the main problem as I see it. For some reason we move the ball pretty well when we are behind.

Since Gase has been the HC we have sucked in the 1st quarter. Clearly his scheme sucks

The truth is we don't have very good players.

That’s simply untrue. An well coached expansion team full of castoffs would have done a better job.
Coaching, coaching, coaching
There is a reason why the phins of the 70s, 80s and 90s were competitive and a reason why teams like the Pats, Steelers, Ravens are always in the mix.
Coaching, coaching, coaching.
Lousy teams draft high every year and still lose.... until they find the right coach and QB.
