I'm so tired of seeing this team "rebuilding" In 2007 the only team we beat were the Ravens who won 5 games. In 2008 they became super bowl contenders and are again this season. How did they get so far ahead. Same goes for the Falcons. Even the Jets are on their way. The Saints win 3 games in 2005 and make it to the NFC Championship in 2006. Giants sucked in 2003/2004 and won the Super Bowl in 2007. Why can't this s#*t happen to us? It's been going on since 2004, and whenever we have a bright spot (2005,2008) we regress the next season.

So what will be considered a success for us this season? 7/8 wins? A playoff run is looking slim unless we manage to sweep the Jets and Pats, or get a lot of help. At least we'll get a feel for Henne this Sunday. Will he be a Ryan/Flacco/Sanchez? Or will he be yet another Fiedler, Feeley, Rosenfels, Lucas, Culpepper, Harrington, Frerotte, Lemon, Green, Beck? That is one sad list. I guess we'll see on Sunday. And I know it's only 1 full game, but that's all it took for Ryan, Flacco and Sanchez to make a statement. Let's not forget Brady became an MVP Super Bowl winner in his first season. So we can all look forward to seeing if we finally have a real young QB on Sunday.

I feel your pain.

there was a stat that i dont know if anyone saw this but it showed that the dolphins have had 3 losing seasons in the last six seasons so something is wrong if other teams can rebuild in two years so why not the dolphins.

you hit the nail on the head with your list of qbs and it is a sad fact that we have gone though more qbs since marino retired the other afc east teams combines.

yeah im tired of the word patience evryone keeps spewing off at the mouth with. oh parcells plan will kick in next year. newsflash , parcells is already planning his exit strategy. anything parcells has touched football related has done squat since the jets lost the afc championship game way back when. its time for this organization to start taking chances and quit being so damn soft.

Those other teams showed balls and took a qb they believed would make a difference. Instead of playing it safe and taking a qb later on in the 2nd round. The Ravens already had a dominant defense in place, the Jets now are working on one, and its damn close to dominant.

Here's another good one for you. The mastermind behind Atlanta's offensive powerhouse is none other than Mike Mularky...

Dolphin fans are so spoiled

Wanny, Saban and Cameron left the cover bare

patience please

It's kind of funny when you think of it, Parcells said that he was going to Atlanta 1st, then he came to us. Then Atlanta was stuck with their second choice and it really turned out well for them. With that said i so still have faith with our F/O. We did have some success via the draft, I'll start panic within a year or two from now.

We used to be a franchise like the Steelers, somehow they've managed to stay more successful in this decade though. We also had a lot of players to mask the rest of the team. Marino never really had a great defense or RBs in the late 80s and 90s to help him which is why he couldnt get a super bowl. He kept us a winning franchise and constant playoff contenders though because he was so good. Then in 2000/2001 our Defense masked the fact we had a mediocre QB. Then in 2002/2003 Ricky Williams masked it and kept us contenders. Then because he was the most overworked RB in the NFL he left in 2004 and finally exposed the team. I try to be patient but it's hard to see all these other teams become more successful. The Bengals and Browns are the only AFC teams who have had a longer wait since playing in an AFC Championship game(1992 for us). I just don't want to see a franchise who only had 2 losing seasons from 1970-2003 and were a constant threat on anyone's schedule become a struggling up-and-down franchise like we've been lately. I have faith we'll get back to where we were soon, and I hope we'll get back into the AFC Championship/Super Bowl at the start of each season(though people have been hoping that since 1985) but it gets frustrating.

The games this year have been impossible to watch. Its not the same as the 1 and 15 season because they just sucked. We keep on putting ourselves in possision to make plays and then we squander the opportunity. Not to mention the awful DBs. When Henne threw that pic six i was less angry than the rest of the game because I could relax and I knew there was no chance.

We are still a long way away.
