New HC and staff

draft a real NT

draft a real MLB

veteran CB for depth

bolster OL

cut Irelands turds where possible, addition by subtraction. the usual suspects: Wallace, Wheeler and Ellerbe.
I am not a capologist so I am uncertain as to how much **** we can shed

parlay one/two of our 1,000 slot receivers into anything, just anything

Why cut our best WR and get hit with the cap. Stupid move....

says the guy who thinks firing our coach today is somehow advantageous

you have to think long term, well unless you are the usual FH crybaby

I don't even know that we can cut Wallace but "our best" at those prices? our best doesn't cut it right now son

We can't cut him man. We will get hit with a huge cap hit. But if he don't do well next year. Doubt we offer new contract. We are stuck with wallace. We can trade him. But no one what's 13 million dollar WR that crys.

Sorry to break the news to you but the rookie Landry is better than Wallace already especially when you factor their contracts

Wallace is trade bait, if somebody is dumb enough to take on his contract.

Sorry. He is not that good.

Any post that says draft this or draft that, sign this position or sign that position without names and round for draft picks or considering how much it effects the salary cap is pointless. You're dreaming in la-la land if you think it's as easy as saying get this position and problem solved.

I'm optimistic with a good coach. I think this is a young team with talent that needs a good HC.

gut the whole team. wholesale changes. in fact, forfeit next season to save us the embarrassment of another losing season.

He's not the only one and said move would have no bearing on the outcome of our remaining games. I've never seen a HC add as little value to a team as I've seen Phailbin add.

I don't know about that. Coaching doesn't explain the guy in your sig disappearing, that's talent or lack of talent. Doesn't explain the collapse of the rush defense, the lack of players winning one-on-one matchups (O-line, D-line, CBs mostly). I'm not buying a good coach magically turning this team into a playoff team in year one.

But it was still good enough to make the playoffs. The team has flaws, but better leadership and coaching down the stretch and they most likely win these close games that they keep losing. This team keeps folding in big games and pressure moments.

As frustrated as I was with today I am optimistic too. Really good young QB, RB's and WR. i personally think Wallace is coming on and I like Clay and our other young TE. We need to cut Philbin and our D coordinator loose and somehow keep Hickey and Lazor. RT doesn't need to learn another system. JMHO but we need a defensive coach (Rex or Bowles) who can figure out how to best use all the talent we have on D. I am a realist but believe we are a few playmakers away, just are desperate for real leadership at the helm.

Like him or not, Wallace allow Landry the space to do what he does. Look at what the patriots did today, they covered Landry with Revis. Without Wallace taking the top off of the defense Landry would not have the room. He's good and would still do well, just not as well as he's doing now.
