Hey since there are so many Red Sox and Yankee fans on this site I figured that considering this is a huge weekend I'd start a thread so we can talk about the games here instead of having to search through both the Red Sox and Yankee threads.

Match-ups:

Friday 7:05 PM:
David Wells (12-6, 4.24) vs. Aaron Small (6-0, 2.42)

Saturday 1:15 PM:
Curt Schilling (5-7, 6.83) vs. Shawn Chacon (5-9, 3.66)

Sunday 1:05 PM:
Tim Wakefield (15-10, 4.29) vs. Randy Johnson (13-8, 4.05)

I think I speak for everyone when I say "It's go time..."

Hopefully we're in for some damn good baseball. Seems like alot of matchups betweeen these two teams this year has resulted in a beat down of one team or the other.

You guys came into Fenway and took 3 of 4 last time we met. Hopefully, payback will be a b*tch.

You gotta admit that as Yankees and Red Sox fans we're blessed. We play 19 times every year (more if you count the playoffs the last couple of years) and no matter if it's in the beginning of the season or the end, EVERY game is playoff atmosphere. It's exciting to say the least!

DEAD RIGHT! I like the match ups on Friday and Sunday (only because Wakefield has pitched very well against the Yankees). I'm not confident in Curt Schilling at all.

Yeah I hate the Yanks (I am a Marlins fan) and I root for every team that plays against them. Needless to say I have many Yankee Fan Friends and I have bet $$$ that the Yanks will lose the series...to the Sox. Come on Red Sox!

As much as I come to this website to talk Dolphins Football, I enjoy the Sox-Yanks threads just about as much. Thanx to whoever brought me to this thread. Good baseball talk here, I hope to enjoy this weekends installment.
