On the kickoff when Laundry let the ball bounce out of the end zone and in the field of play, Landry's foot was out of bounds when he first touched the ball, therefore the ball is considered out of bounds and should have been placed at the 35.

Yes it is. Read the rules buddy. Wes Welker did this when he was with the Dolphins multiple times

I remember Welker doing that. Was Landry out of bounds though? I don't think he was.

Shouldnt he be ineligible to touch the ball once he goes out of bounds

Was Landry out of bounds?

His foot was out... Campbell is as clueless as you fans. This is why it wasn't challenged and Miami missed out of way better field position. Also lead to the Cowboys getting great field position

Those NFL rules contradict themselves though. If a player goes out of bounds he is not eligible to make a play so how can you touch the ball if you are out of bounds and it be called as the ball being out of bounds.

mentioned in another post but yes if a kick off is fielded out of bounds the kick off is considered out of bounds

It would seem the NFL has miscalled this play a few times by the showing of your video.

I believe its a rule on kickoffs only.

Bad teams find bad luck. Every nuance is exacerbated when you stink on all phases. D stinks and so does O and coaching.

Its beyond a stupid rule then. Suprised they have not fixed it. Rule book plainly states that a player cannot leave field of play then be eligible to make a play unless they are pushed out.

Not that it mattered at all, but didn't the refs also mess up the clock at the end of the game? It looked like we called our last timeout after the final 3rd down stop, but then the clock started back up before the final 4th down play. Unless I missed something it looked like the clock started for no reason?
